Casey, who says she is a Shift Supervisor, refused to provide a drink as ordered at drive thru. I order the same drink 300+ times a year across the US and she had a major attitude at 6:48pm 11/8/25. Not to mention that I have ordered and received my drink from this location twice this week, without any issue, prior to this interaction with her. She should be reviewed and demoted.
I had the pleasure of meeting Casey face-to-face, in-store, at approximately 3:20pm 11/9/25. Casey does not uphold her Shift Supervisor duty to deliver legendary customer service nor act with a customer comes first attitude. She was very combative and again refused to provide my drink as ordered.
Casey is the only person across the 48 continental United States, in which I have ordered this drink, to refuse to make it. In fact, she insists that I pay for a more expensive drink with ingredients that I didn’t order simply because she is too lazy to hit the [Ask Me] button and type “Shaken” or hit the [Stirred] button and radio the Barista on bar top making the beverage.
Her behavior is not in line with the Starbucks guiding principles and again would be my recommendation to remove her from her role as a Shift Supervisor.

Super excellent Starbucks. Delicious coffee and great service, very spacious and clean with high ceilings. Looks like a Starbucks Reserve although I don’t think it is. Restrooms, outdoor seating, plenty of parking and Drive Through . Great atmosphere.

There was clearly more work than employees, tons of mobile orders, people in person, and huge drive thru line. But the staff was still so calm and kind and hardworking.

Ordered a chicken maple egg sandwich and pineapple passionfruit refresher drink. The sandwich was very underwhelming. Not bad just nothing great. Wendy’s chicken honey biscuit sandwich is better. The drink was ok. I don’t think I’ll get it again though. Compared to other refreshers this one isn’t as good as the others IMO. 3 stars because they actually messed up on my order. (Didn’t give me the sandwich and wrong size drink and ice amout)

Probably my favorite SBUX in town. If there is a line of 4 or more in drive thru, it moves super fast. Plus, you can pre-order ahead on the mobile app, pay for it and just run in or pull thru in little time. I believe a few of the vehicles ahead of me did the same. Today I ordered a Venti White Mocha with Soy Milk and light whip…hot, I might add, along with something new, the bacon, Gruyere and egg sous vide bites (2 of them) for $4.95. That’s basically what I would pay for 2 pieces of nigiri at a sushi restaurant, so why not. My white mocha was wonderful, as in, it was stirred, hot (but not piping) and prepared just as expected by the talented barista inside. Nice. The sous vide bites were surprising…in a good way. Now I know these are re-heated, pre-packaged morsels and are not freshly made, but these were still good. The bites were wonderfully fluffy, the bacon was some good sh …. stuff and the aromatics of the Gruyere cheese flowed throughout each bite. Now, these aren’t large discs of sous vide. In fact, they’re small. So small, I took small bites and finished in 6 total bites. That’s 83 cents per bite and roughly 28 cents per chew. I felt my tastebuds were ok with that; I would order these again if the mood struck me right and no local businesses would sound appealing at that moment. They’re very tasty though and I would definitely pick these up at the market if SBUX would mass market them to grocers.
The service was fantastic. I cannot recall the pleasant lady’s name at the drive thru window but her Fedora hat was suave, she was masked & gloved and she had a pleasant motherly demeanor from greeting to good bye.
SBUX has become the java juggernaut they are today by giving people what they want, consistently and by serving quality products. Their rewards program is always engaging, interactive and, honestly is one of the best reward programs in the corp. food and bev. game. This location met all standards and I was very pleased from my handcrafted mocha to the egg bites to the service. Thank you again for being my #1 Starbucks in Wilmington.

This Starbucks is my favorite in town. I always have a great experience when Ryan is working. He is incredibly friendly and takes the time to chat with me while making my drink, which makes my visits feel personal. You can tell he really cares about his customers. His positive attitude and genuine kindness make my day brighter.

UPDATE 12-13-23: Went back to try again after several months hoping for a change in quality. This is my grande drink, empty a quarter of the way down. This is the problem when we keep supporting businesses who do not care about the product they put out. I paid 4.55 for a drink and got 3/4 of the product I paid for. I am done giving second nd third chances to this Starbucks.
This Starbucks has gone down drastically. There is no consistency in the items you order. The service is rude. This Starbucks is the closest to our house so we always went there. We took a break hoping they got better after about 6 months only to find out they got worse. Today we sat in drive thru only to find out that when it was our turn to order after a 9 minute wait they decided to close early. They are so unprofessional and did not even take the orders of those already in line. This Starbucks needs help.

Went to this Starbucks location to do some studying before going into work, had about an hour and a half, planned to get a coffee when I left for my commute to the office. Was approached by an employee 5 minutes after sitting informing me that I can’t hang out in the lobby unless I purchased something. There was maybe 4 or 5 other customers in the building at the time, so plenty of space and tables/chairs were open. I’ve spent a lot of time and money at the Starbucks, I love the outside patio at this location but telling me that the first thing I have to do when I come here is make a purchase is crazy. I wasn’t even using their WiFi. Other than that the product and service is about on par with other Starbucks locations. Really unfortunate event actually, kind of turns me off to the location but for just grabbing a coffee and going it’s fine.

Great vibe with a bigger cafe than most Starbucks locations, and a really open, flowy design — also the only store in Wilmington with the Nitro Cold Brew, which is well worth the visit.
