We were craving brunch and headed to our usual spot, Bagel Cafe, only to find it packed with no parking available… as usual. Frustrated, we decided to try something new and asked our car for recommendations. It suggested Life’s A Bagel, so the car plotted a course and drove us there (Full-Self Driving) and I’m so glad we did!
Tucked in the back of the Smith’s shopping center, this hidden gem had a line out the door when we arrived; a great sign! We ordered eight bagels to go (with plain and honey walnut cream cheeses) plus two onion toasted to eat there. My wife got the Bialy Bagel sandwich with egg and pastrami, and I kept it classic.
Service was quick… our order was ready in about 5 minutes and the bagels were incredible. Seriously, these are the best bagels I’ve ever had. Perfectly chewy, flavorful, and fresh, with cream cheeses that were rich, creamy, and absolutely outstanding (the honey walnut is a must-try).
Even more impressive: a week later, the take-home bagels and cream cheese were still amazingly fresh, just like the day we bought them.
I can’t believe I didn’t know about Life’s A Bagel sooner. Bagel Cafe’s quality has slipped over the years, but this place has earned my full loyalty. If you’re in Las Vegas and love bagels, do yourself a favor and go here; you won’t be disappointed!

I was craving a lox bagel and they did not disappoint! It was really tasty. The bagels were a decent size, and tasted fresh. The breakfast sandwich was super thick, definitely worth the price in my opinion. The staff was friendly, but I asked for no tomatoes and still got tomatoes lol. There are some small tables if you wanted to dine in, but we took ours to go.

Not sure what happened to this place, it used to be my favorite spot to go. The staff knew regulars , the service was quick , but that all has seemed to change with their new staff.
The food is still good, but the customer service has gone from a 10 to a 2. Shouldn’t take 25min for a bagel sandwich.
Hope the owners can turn this place around. Better off going to Einstein because at least the service is quick.

I’m still trying to find good bagels in Vegas (we’re spoiled after living in the NYC metro area). Life’s a Bagel is perfectly okay. Nothing special as far as the bagels go. The breakfast sandwiches and some of the sweets look delicious (I’m looking at you NY crumb cake). The bagels beat supermarket bagels by a lot. The service was fine. The pricing was decent. All in all a good place to grab a quick breakfast.

Definitely used to be the spot for bagels here in summerlin. Been coming for years. Although they have increased in price recently. Used to smother your bagels with cream cheese for $3.50 now they want $5 and your only getting half the smear. Update. Cream cheese is smothered again thank you! Coffee mediocre. Sandwiches are good but still way too expensive. Business has definitely changed. They were for sale, not sure if they are anymore. Hopefully someone new takes ownership.
Edit. I started coming around COVID time and paid 3.50 for a bagel. Then 3.75. Then 4.25 then 4.75. Now 5.30 lol ridiculous . So yes the pricing has changed. Not sure before or after new owner.

I absolutely love this place (been a customer for 2+years) but they did something today that’s making me second guess coming back. If you’ve ever gotten a regular bagel with cream cheese here, you know they put a RIDICULOUS amount of cream cheese sometimes. So what I’ll do is order a bagel on the side so I can add the excess on there. I placed my order, and when I get it, the bagel with cream cheese has less cheese than usual. I feel like the girl who made my order did that on purpose so I couldn’t get two bagels with cheese for a lesser price. Ridiculous to see stinginess like that as a paying customer.

The food is good. The eat-in area leaves a lot to be desired. The employees were courteous and professional. Very disappointed in the request for a tip for a take out order and the lack of transparency with credit card fees. The tip request and amounts suggested are outrageous for a take out order. These employees are making at least $12/hr to make sandwiches to go, and may not be paying income tax on tips! Why tip?Then they added a 3% fee for using a credit card – and didn’t inform of the fee – I didn’t find out about it until I got home and reviewed my receipt. I had a fairly large order and would have paid cash. The requested tip amount (which request includes a tip on the tax) and the automatic non-transparent credit card fee adds upwards of 25% to the total bill. And businesses wonder why customers are rebelling.
Reply to owner: No one verbally asked for a tip, but you have your credit card machine set to ask for a tip. Whether it’s an employee or the machine that asks for a tip, asking for a tip is never acceptable. If a minimum wage of $12/hr isn’t enough pay for making sandwiches to take away, then the employees should find a higher paying job. I appreciate the offer for a credit, but no thank you.

This cute bagel bakery and deli is a great place to start your morning. The staff are very friendly, personable, and give great recommendations. The bagels are fresh, the detail on the Everything Bagel is immaculate. Every ingredient on top of the bagel is perfectly crisped and laid out neatly fully covering the top. The ingredients are high tier and showcases the quality of their food. They put plenty of avocado, it was even spilling over the edges enough to know they weren’t skimping on the details. They covered the whole bagel with bacon and cheese. They are priced very reasonably and have many options to choose from. I love Life’s a Bagel and will be back when I crave a bagel sandwich!

I really wanted to like this place but I won’t be back. The bagels are just so-so, but my problem is with the woman who runs the counter. I’ve dealt with her a few times, and she has a very pushy, in-your-face attitude that will ramp up to anger when you tell her No concerning her recommendations. I’ve been looking for a particular type of half-sour pickles that I can’t find, and she got visibly bent out of shape when I didn’t buy her’s. And I won’t be hustled for a tip from anyone. Especially when the extent of their service is putting a few bagels in a bag, with a side of attitude.

We’ve been going to this place for years now. The bagels and other foods are great. My wife loves the breakfast bagel sandwiches. The only problem is the service is so incredibly slow on weekends. If the girl with the NJ accent is there, things are fine. If she’s not, be prepared to wait.
