Located next to the Milwaukee River, this family owned bar/restaurant has creative food offerings, daily food specials and offers take out and gift cards. Happy hour, served 2:00 – 5:00, Monday through Friday, gives you a chance to sample a variety of beers, seltzers, cocktails and Jameson whiskey soaked cherries. For entertainment there is a pool table, darts, video gambling and pull tabs. For convenience, there is a place out back with a designated smoking area.
The menu has appetizers, cold sandwiches, kids meals, paninis, pizza, salads and hoagies. Several of the dips/sauces are homemade, and I found the dip served with the chips was especially good. It’s the creation of the owners mother, and has a lovely whipped texture with garlic and onion flavor. I had the Rasta Roots salad, and my husband had the Simply Tuna sandwich. The salad was good, with the grilled chicken being served shredded instead of in strips. The jerk ranch had a little kick at the end, and was served on the side. The sandwich was nicely grilled, and the tuna salad was truly “touched with mayonnaise” so the tuna flavor stood out and not the dressing.
Service was a little slow, but since we weren’t in a huge rush it wasn’t an issue. This is a nice, laid back spot with a beautiful brick and wood interior, and plenty of room at the U-shaped bar to socialize and chill.

This is my third time coming to beeks for food! All of the staff is incredible, and the food is always amazing!!! What a great addition to Barton. Crab Rangoon pizza was top notch, forgot to take a picture of the whole thing we were so excited!!

We really enjoyed this place. The vibe is laid back and welcoming. The service (Sarah) and the food selection was fabulous. We enjoyed two of their soups; the beer cheese and one of their rotating selections which was a creamy sausage fagoli. Both were delicious. We tried their chips and homemade dip; also delicious. We had the Brushetta Chicken pizza (roman crust) and the Marley Melt. Both were outstanding. They have a great selection of local tap beers which we appreciate over the boring big brands. Plenty of parking nearby. We will definitely be back to sample more of the menu. Highly recommend!

Great place right off the main street in Barton. Had the Marley Melt and it was quite tasty! The pasta side was yummy, as well! Service was fast and friendly, too. I will definitely come back to try another delicious sandwich.

Our first of many visits to this fine establishment. The staff were all friendly and made us feel very welcome. We both had sandwiches that were over the top with great flavor and creative combinations. Our server Sara was so nice going over all the menu options. Beef and Amy are terrific and everything from cocktails to menu items are made with love . Can’t wait to go back!

Everything was awesome! Great service, excellent aesthetic and music, taco Tuesday was cheap and tasty, and the jerk ranch chicken salad was delicious. Will be back it’s great to have Jamaican cuisine close to home!

The owner!!! She was so sweet and chill! When you walk in its very welcoming. Some bars you feel out of place walking in, this one i did not. I ordered the pretzel bites and they came out in a decent amount of time and were still hot when they were served. The bar is cute and very comfortable. They only opened 3 months ago, ALSO they’re setting up online ordering!!! So soon you’ll be able to order to take the yummy food home!!! Don’t skip this place! Go check it out!!! I was not disappointed at all!!!

Went to Beek’s Joint with my two littles for dinner, the kids eat free (kids menu only choices) on Wednesday, had crayons and coloring pages for the kids, they said the food was delicious, I had the Wisco Pizza on Roman crust and it was fabulous, very filling so I had to bring home and had a lunch for the next day. Wait stuff was friendly and very interactive with the kids, they loved it, dancing to the music, very fun environment. Definitely recommend as a family restaurant or visiting with friends and having a few drinks, all around great places.
