I decided to give this restaurant a try today! Walked in and was not greeted just smiled at and asked “2?” Then was seated no “Someone will be right with you” nothing. So we sat and waited about 10 minutes with employees walking right by us not saying anything. Noone offered us drinks or anything. I sat looking at the menu of this I believe mom and pop style restaurant and was utterly disappointed. Smh Just by first glance the menu is overwhelming. It’s a whole 4 pages!! A lot of it was seafood. For a basic taco plate it’s $13.99 when I can get a taco and enchilada plate with a choice of 2 different rices from a restaurant that just opened up here for $11.19 is insane. Maybe shorten your menu and only have a few items. Maybe not have so much seafood that you have to overprice all of your other basic food to offset that cost that’s the only thing I can see. As much as I want to support mom and pop businesses in Abilene it’s kind of hard to when prices look like these and there are way cheaper restaurants. Along with the service being awful. For a restaurant thats on North 1st with prices like these is crazy. This place needs a lot of work not only on the prices and menu but the service and the location is a death trap. After waiting I walked out. Went to Chuys! Will not be back.

I was amazed by the sheer amount of seafood options. The food was amazing and very comfortable atmosphere. Look forward to going again!

The atmosphere and staff were good, but the food was a little bland. I got the quesobirria and both the meat and dipping broth were pretty flavorless unfortunately. I think the key components are there they just need to amp up the spices! I also wish they would switch the overhead lights to a warmer tone, the lighting feels like you’re in a hospital. Otherwise very cute interior

First time trying this place today and I was very impressed with the kind people and fast service. The chips and salsa were very good and not stale like Rosas Cafe or nasty El Chicos with there rats lol. I will definitely be coming back here again.

The ambiance is quaint and cute! The food was delicious. Chips were certainly different and needed salt. Server was ordinary and brought out our meals, took our order, and checked in to see if everything was OK.

Best authentic Mexican food in town. Food is delicious. The owners are very friendly. Drinks are great. Always a fantastic meal. I highly recommend.

We were greeted and sat as soon as we entered the establishment. The waiter was attentive and friendly. Our order was delivered to our table within 5 mins. The green chicken enchiladas are great. The rice was fantastic. Everything was fresh. I really enjoyed my meal. It’s much better than other Mexican restaurants in Abilene. The decor was pretty cool too. Lastly most old restaurants in Abilene have terrible fountain drinks because of the pipes not this restaurant, their sodas taste crisp and fresh they are definitely using a proper filtration system. Family owned and operated, support local businesses.

The waitress was very full and boring …… barely gave refills …As you can see you get alotta food …. Couldn’t even finish it I had the tacos only could eat one and some rice and got full Hubby got full ! 10/10 the prices are reasonable as well ….. will return

I got an asada plate – asada was very chewy and tasteless. Beans weren’t all that good either. Only thing I enjoyed was the rice. I saw lots of reviews on Facebook so wanted to give it a try but waste of money.
