I decided to go here for the first time on a Monday evening and had a wonderful experience! As soon as you walk in, you could smell the authenticity and the wonderful spices of the Dominican Republic! The food came out very fast as I sat down to dine in. I had a great experience with wonderful customer service And the portions were large! I’m a big eater and left home with half of my food as leftovers. I ordered the pescado de coco y arroz y habichuelas y maduros!! Everything was delicioso!!

Stopped in after walking by the tons of Dominican restaurants Allentown has to offer. I am so happy I did! Wait staff are so friendly and attentive, you felt you were in your Tia’s house for a visit. I ordered Sopa de Res with tostones and aguacate…. Amazing & delicious!!! soup was hearty and full of beef. Tostones on point. Will def go again and again and again!

Must be a new owners. The rice was super dry. The chicken(dark meat was extra dry)the plantains not fully cooked. I have not been at this establishment for a few months. In the past rather you spoke English or Spanish it didn’t matter. The food was a 10 plus. The new people seems to have time to cater to people they know only. had to repeat my order 5 times, to finally the guy phoned a friend. I don’t care who he calls as long as the food taste good. The chicken looked as though it had been sitting from the previous day and reheated. I would not suggest this place.

We had waited near 2 hours for a family meal of chicken before calling a third time to find out the drier no longer had our order. They never called when they arrived and then delivered to the wrong address. The counter people argued with us for over an hour whether or not we had recieved the order and what address they gave to the driver, because it clearly wasn’t ours. They said they could deliver the food again, but it’d be an hour minimum wait. At that point I just wanted my money back, and they wouldnt even bother trying to give us a replacement meal or acknowledge that they messed up. They refunded us an hour later and made us wait 3 and a half hours to just wind up getting fast food because it was the only thing still open. Arrogant, rude, and scarily slow. The attitude was bearable before but after being asked “what do you want me to do about it”, and told that the one counter person working there didn’t give the driver the address, it was another, ghost counter person apparently, I truly can’t stand this place. Completely ruined a night.

You know this hole in the wall restaurants where the food is great, not expensive, the owners are nice and remember you and it’s always clean yet busy? That’s this place, they’ve been around for years and regardless of all of the Latino restaurants they’re surrounded by, this place is still going strong.
