Stopped by for the first time while looking for a quick lunch since we didn’t have much time. Service was fast and super friendly, which was great. The sandwich was good, pretty much what you’d expect from a quick bite. Prices are fair, there’s plenty of seating, and parking is easy since it’s in a plaza. Definitely a solid spot for a quick breakfast, brunch, or lunch.

First time here. I was very hungry and ate it all. But honestly, it wasn’t the best. I ordered a California Benedict, said it came with tomato, spinach, abovado… the tomato was cold, the spinach was raw (completely uncooked) like you would use for a salad, and the avocado was smashed up to guacamole style. Very odd. Also, $6 for 3 pieces of turkey bacon, served to me cold, is absolutely ridiculous. I understand food costs, but at least serve it correctly. My waitress was completely friendly, attentive, and quick. I didn’t complain to her because it’s not her fault. The place is extremely cute. They need to wipe their booth seats down after guests leave, I would have sat in crumbs if I didn’t notice. With limited breakfast options around here, I would try it again and order something different for sure.

Service was great, she was very attentive and quick with taking care of our requests. Food was delicious. Had the omelet with veggies and sausage, very well stuffed and delicious as well as the mini potato pancake. The caramel latte was not too sweet nor too strong, just right. Atmosphere felt like a small town diner

Awesome! My husband and I went to breakfast yesterday I had the Avocado toast and my husband had the double dose it was delicious back again today my husband had the same thing but this time I had the California eggs Benedict with their home fries yummmm! Waitress Tera was amazing and full of energy! Definitely one of our favorites! Also you can bring your fur baby as long as you sit outside which is a nice area covered.

Alice’s restaurant invokes visions of Arlo Guthrie’s song, but is in fact a wonderful restaurant that is clearly much better than it’s location (in a strip mall) lets on!
I have primarily visited for breakfast, although their other meals (yes I looked at the other reviews) seem very worthy. Parking is ample, and there is handicap parking available.
Alice’s has indoor and outdoor seating, with full service in both. The coffee was hot and the servers pointed to the specials (I recommend trying them as they were incredibly tasty!).
Alice’s is on the road to Hutchinson Island and a good way to start your beach trip!
The servers are good and attentive, and the food was delivered as ordered and pretty quickly.

This is one of my grandparents favorite breakfast places. While visiting them, during Thanksgiving week, they decided to share with me, the great experience and delicious food that Alice’s had to offer. Prior to arriving, they excitedly explained to me that the service there was 2nd to none, and everyone they came into cpntactbthere was super friendly. They were right. We decided to sit on the patio, for breakfast. The patio had fans running, music playing and was a very comfortable environment. While we were enjoying the delicious food, our server was very attentive and made sure my coffee and club soda were topped up, along with my grandfather’s decaf. In addition the the great service, though, we also had extremely friendly servers and the owner even came out and greeted us, and we all chatted for a few minutes. I have to say even if the food hadn’t been great, the experience provided was so nice, warm and welcoming, it would have been enjoyable. To our benefit, though, the food was also great. I would highly recommend Alice’s, if you’re in Stuart and looking for either a breakfast or lunch place. They close at 2pm, though, so get there early!

I like road trips because they allow BBDO to expand our reviews to places outside of the Space Coast. This was how I found myself in Stuart, FL, looking for some chow. When I saw the name Alice’s Family Restaurant, I immediately thought I was in an Arlo Guthrie song. However, I quickly realized I was still in South Florida as I melted, stepping out of the air-conditioned confines of the Big Boy Mobile.
Ashley was my server today, and she was gregarious, professional, and spot-on throughout the meal. I ordered a New York Strip and Eggs with a side of Home Fries and a short stack (2) of Banana Pecan Pancakes. Ashley went to put my order in, so I took a peek around the place. It was clean, bright, and empty!
Ashley returned with my foodstuffs, and after taking a few pictures, I grabbed my apparat for sustenance extermination and proceeded to the job at hand. I broke an egg first as I always order them over-medium (which this was not). The New York strip was of the lowest grade possible while still being called food. It was cooked properly, a perfect medium-rare. It was tasteless and chewy and landed on the palate with all the fanfare of grilled shoe leather. The only way to describe what they passed off as Home Fries is to speak directly from the gut. They were disgusting. Mushy, greasy, and presented with all the flavor of the steak, this was a colossal strike-out.
Thankfully, I had to move on to the next item on my foodie tour of South Florida. I cut off a forkful of the Banana Pecan Griddle Cake and “in my mouth it went.” This. This was the only reason this slop house isn’t a Swill Alert. Not only was the presentation a work of art, but the Johnny cake was perfectly grilled, the bananas freshly sliced, the pecans warmly toasted, and the whipped cream artfully applied. This was a huge step up from the preceding blech. It wouldn’t be fair of me if I didn’t mention the scuttlebutt going around among the staff. The place was recently purchased (7 months ago or so) and the new owners are in the process of re-working the menu, décor, the whole kit and ca-boodle. If so, I might have to re-try them when they are done. As it stands,
Big Boy says, “Anybody who eats this food will appreciate the brighter possibilities of going on a hunger strike for the cause (good food). Brevard County isn’t the only place with crappy Breakfast.”

Younger patio server who sat us was nice. However, our actual server had kind of a dry humor and seemed uninterested in being there. Pancakes were bland and hash browns were over fried and too greasy. Disappointed they didn’t have a turkey bacon or turkey sausage option like other diners in the area do. Mimosas were the best part and even those were average at best. Did like the fact that there was a kids menu. But overall unimpressed.

Your average greasy spoon. Nothing spectacular. I ordered their “Triifecta ” 3 eggs,3panckes, and 3 links. For some reason, most places serve ” brown and serve” style sausages . I wish they used real sausages, I would pay the extra dough !

This is one of the most important restaurants you can patron. The staff educates and employs individuals with cognitive and intellectual disabilities.
I highly encourage you to visit this amazing establishment and enjoy your vittles while socializing with amazing employees.
