Last night was a poor experience. Ordered online and was informed pickup would be ready in 15 mins. Arrived there in 10 mins and was then told that the food would be ready in 30 mins, then was told 40 mins. Upon arriving home, found the food to be less than ideal. The fried rice was just plain white rice with soy sauce added. No egg or veggies. The egg drop soup had peas in it. The happy family entree with chicken, beef, pork, shrimp, scallops, and fake crab was 80% chicken. There were two shrimp and the tiniest of scallops. They seemed awfully busy and maybe it was just an off night for them.

I have eaten once at China Bridge and the food was very good. I live about 25 minutes away from the restaurant but decided to drive over and place a to go order throw it into my heated bag and drive 25 minutes home for my family and I to enjoy. I looked up the address on Google and got directions. Google also indicated open next to the restaurant name, so I headed out. When I got here I’ll show you a picture of what I found on the door. I am writing this review sitting in the closed restraunt parking lot. Not everyone that enjoys your fare lives around the corner in the Woodlands.

Ok so I stop by to have lunch and it was very good and over all portions were just right and flavor is on par with traditional Chinese food.
1 Hot & Sour soup was good and tasty, flavor was just right and no sugar added, that’s how Hot & Sour soup should be.
2 the spring roll that comes with lunch is very good and handmade not like your package spring roll, definitely good and crispy! With homemade mustard and their chili it’s just another level
3 I had the Hunan Chicken and flavor definitely is excellent and the Vegetable is fresh and well blend with the taste.
Over all definitely would be back and around this area, well if you tried you would come back again.

Every few weeks we have our Family Sunday Dinner ordering to go with the whole family . China Bridge is one of our favorite places to order from . They have a great variety to order from and the food is always good. So everyone always gets their favorite meal . . I do have one suggestion for them though . Their restaurant is very nice but it always seems that their dine in business is not as busy as they should be . My suggestion having started in the Restaurant Industry is to create more light in the Restaurant . Also on days for Big Sports events make sure your TV is on with no Sound . Customers also like being able to see out and into the restaurant so opening it up will help . Anyway if you haven’t eaten there give them a try prices are fair and food and service are always great , Thanks Will Mattern

Nice small restaurant where only one server is needed.

I ordered the lunch special Mongolian beef with fried rice and hot and sour soup.

The hot and sour soup did not have enough sour in it, and overall, it was a little too starchy as well.

The Mongolian beef was okay. There was a char coal, smoky taste to it that overpowered the scallions. The fried rice helped with getting rid of some of that charcoal smoky flavor from the beef.

Overall, it was okay.

The employees here lack basic social intelligence, I attempted to add something to an order offering to do a separate transaction, or pay cash and was told no. The food is very average at best but since it’s convenient I have ordered a few times over the years.

Well never again, the owner was given my information and did not have the basic curtousy to reach out. I’ve made it my goal to let the neighbors know to support the other options in this food category which have incredibly great and caring ownership.

0/2 for here. Neither the general’s chicken nor the mapo tofu were right. They didn’t even look right. The tofu was missing ground pork and anything that makes this dish good. The chicken was dry – like it was freezer burned or something. It was then cut into these big chunks and prepared in some fashion not like any I’ve experienced. Wish I had gone to Chef Chan’s, or Panda Express or anything else. Called the restaurant who was broadly apathetic. I didn’t want to drive the 1 hour round trip to return it. They refunded the tofu and threw the chicken out. Compare these photos to those of their website.

The rice is extremely salty, the shrimp and chicken are tough or undercooked, and it also has too much soy sauce, which makes it even saltier. It was a bad choice. I’ve always bought from this place, but this time I don’t know what happened to them or if they changed cooks. I had to throw away both rice dishes. 07/06/2025.

Chinese musical background is really great. Only few chinese or asian restaurants do this. Good ambience. Good food.

I used to come to China Bridge for many years before I moved. After about 5 years I came to the restaurant abd it’s just as good as it was. It’s a peacuful and welcoming atmostohere. I prefer to dine-in because it is relaxing and one enjoy the meal.
