We had been to this place on our way to New York. A good subway place with enough room for customers to sit and dine. There are plenty parking as well. There was only one person to serve and the young lady was very friendly and provided a thankful service. Subway we ordered was very delicious and I would go there anytime. Since there was only one person working there, I experienced a bit of a delay. Again that happens in most Subway places away from cities. There is a clean restroom as well.

Usually this would be our go to place as my 7yr old loves subway every now and again. So on March 11, 2020 my husband and son set out to go purchase a sandwich for our son. He arrived there at 735pm to the doors of the establishment locked, he then knocks the door, the employee was there making a salad, says I’m closed and ignored my husband standing out in the cold. He then walks away and went to the back employee area or the establishment. Another customer walks up to my husband and asked are they closed? So they engage in conversation with the other customer saying that is so rude. I then told my husband to take a picture of the establishment. Now the establishment time listed on their facility says open until 8pm and the website says 10pm but this guy left 2 customers outside in the cold at 735pm. Absolutely ridiculous. Definitely lost my family as customers.

Went there today at 7:47 pm the sign on the door says closed at 9pm , the door was locked and when we knocked the lady said they are closed!

Only one person working , which I had no problem waiting. After waiting about 10 minutes it’s finally my turn, then a mobile order comes in and she tells me she needs to do the mobile order first. Since when do mobile orders come before customers that’s inside the store already waiting? Waste of my lunch break.

I have never experience such poor customer service. I frequent this location however, I usually order in store. Today I decided to order ahead using the app. I ordered and arrived at the store 16mins later to be told the order had no been received and the sandwich had not been made. I expected that by showing the employee my subway confirmation and PayPal receipt that he would be sorry for the delay and make my sandwich. He said he could not make my food until he received the order on his computer. I asked him if he expected me to wait until the order (which was placed now 20mins ago) would arrive. I then asked him to refund me which is said he could not/would not.
He said I would have to phone subway customer service to deal with this. On my way home, I called subway to only be given automated message machines. At this point I drove back and told him that he had to take my name and number and call me when he receives my order and refund me immediately.
Terrible customer service. I showed him confirmation and payment. If (for whatever reason) the store didn’t ever receive the order they would lose out in a couple of dollars of the cost but now they have lost out on a customer forever. Have some common sense. It’s your issue. Make the sandwich and apologize. Still chasing my refund.

Now the gentleman at this location KNOWS how to treat his customers. We went in for a meatball sub, they were running low but he let us know that he would make a fresh batch for us which was great. It took all of ten minutes. I will be coming back to this location vs the one in watching sq mall.

The lame guy that works there is not friendly at all. He gives an attitude he never says hi back, never says thank you when you leave him a tip. I can see this subway closing soon. To owner: Hire friendly people that love other people and love working not attitude people that hate there existence.

I have visited this location twice since the Watchung location has been closed. On both occasions the staff ( same gentleman had an attitude ). My young ones noticed his attitude as well. Everyone has their days and I know that some customers are not easy to deal so I am going try forget those incidents. I would at least like one day where this fellow does not have an attitude. Let’s see how it goes this week…

The restaurant was clean .

Frequent customer, disappointing visit! Ordered footlong CLUB combo. Was told they ran out of roastbeef so, I asked if more ham & turkey could be added to make up for lack of RB. Answer was NO, Unless I paid extra!?!?!?!?
