We have been to this fire house subs many times. I do online ordering and also order in she store. This time I did the online ordering when I walked in to pick up my food I see on their sign that they are promoting for their thanksgiving turkey sub it says sold out on the gravy. First off how do you run out of gravy for a sandwich that you are promoting and second if it’s sold out you would think it would say that online. I waited to see if they would tell me when they handed me my bag that they were out of gravy especially since they charge you an extra 1$ for it. The kid hands me my bag and didn’t say a word. I fill my cup up check my bag and no gravy. So I go wait at the counter for 5 mins for the girl to say oh we are out of gravy. I get it is only 1$ extra but being that the customer is paying extra for it you think you would say something. She then says oh did you want a refund? She stand there looking at the screen and then says well I can’t just reimburse you for the gravy I would have to reimburse you for the whole sandwich and then you would have to pay for it again. I get home to give my family their food and another signature thing they offer their PICKLES and it even asks you online if you want the pickle spear on the side. No pickle with all 3 subs. Yes, it’s just a pickle but this happens all the time. So I call she goes to ask me if I want to come back to get the pickles then says the next time you come in will just give you a bunch since their free. I will not go back to this location sadly I will drive the extra few mins to the other location near me. I could understand if they were super busy but there was not one person in the restaurant.

We’ve always liked Firehouse Subs. But our first visit to this Manvel location wasn’t the usual good experience. I ordered online, and added Tomato Basil Soup to my sandwich order. My husband went in to pick up the order when we arrived and were told by the man behind the counter that “we don’t have that soup… Only potato. (So I shouldn’t have been able to order it!) It said on the website there are four additions you can add to the soup for free, but my husband said said it sounded like there would have been an extra charge. My husband said the man had a heavy accent and was hard to understand… So maybe he just misunderstood him. It was hard to communicate with him. So I paid for a soup I didn’t get and he said we would have to contact corporate fir a refund. It’s highly unlikely that we will return to this location, even though we now live in the area.

What a ridiculous experience. Ordered through door dash, driver gets there and they refuse to make the order because they don’t see it. He shows them the receipt and order information from door dash. they still refuse. So I have to cancel the order. Looking on here at all the bad reviews, the management needs to do something or this will be another failed business. Losing money and customers due to incompetence and bad customer service. It even shows the store confirmed the order. They owe this driver for wasting his time and gas.

Poorly made sandwich very sloppy no meat not very appealing waste of money wait time was very long and very expensive. Should of kept the one in alvin open better food quality and atmosphere alot of employees and they couldn’t make a decent sandwich.

Normally the food is good here but the past few times I have felt let down and then this last order I had.. made me physically ill. The meat was chewy and looks like they didn’t even try to go thru the fat parts on my brisket sandwich and the meat looked like it had no color. I am kinda disgusted and can’t think about it to much or I get sick. Won’t be coming here again.

Poorly made sandwich, had ingredients I requested be removed. The man who assisted me did not listen to me at all, from the no pickles to me having to repeat my name for the order 5 times. I tried to give them a chance but I should have paid attention to the other reviews. Service sucks and sandwich is not worth the price.
