Squash Casserole was great according to my two table mates, Chicken and Dumplings was okay, Mashed potatoes okay but lumpy and a no to the green beans. I ate my Sandwich Sampler without the bread(I was fine with this). I am not a fan of dense white bread, if you are, it did seem fresh. The Jalapeno Pimento Cheese was delicious and the Chicken Salad was very good also. Tuna was okay and Potato Salad was good. Several menu items were not available and the atmosphere is Too Cluttered. Those half walls don’t hide the mess! Service was a little slow. Had to get our check at the register. I guess we could have rung the bell at our table, we had to do that at the register anyway. Less is more would be good for the menu and the decor.

Great food, prices and the servings were just right. Everything goes to your stomach instead to waste. Service was outstanding as well. Nice variety of dishes and sides. They also have burgers if you got kids which were indicated as being delicious by my nephew. I would certainly recommend this to my friends and family and to those reading this now.

Fantastic service and amazing homemade dinner!
I would try the loaded potato soup and tomato basil soup, simply amazing!
No better place in Santa Fe ,TX to get a home cooked meal from a great bunch whether you’re local or just passing through.
Different hot teas and their own home made iced tea is also really good! Don’t forget to try the pies.

Oh My Goodness. This place is heaven on earth. If you are looking for great homemade food that will have you waddling out the door….this is the place. Forget the bread as an appetizer, here you get cheese and crackers that will have you singing. This is an absolute must come to place.

Food was a little pricy but good. Customer service has a lot to be desired. I rated this place a 2; not so much for the food because it was good, but for the customer service. Not a warm welcome. I was visiting a friend so I would not be a regular, but not sure my friend will take another friend. Maybe she will try again and see what happens.

Price was right. Tea was good. Food reminded me of my wife’s cooking when we were newly weds… And that’s not a compliment. It was cheap, though! Probably won’t be back.

I decided to give it another try and wish now that I didn’t. I had the chicken fried steak and it tasted like cardboard heated in a microwave covered with brown gravy. I will never go back

It was alright. We didn’t like it enough to make it revisit spot. I ordered the the hamburger steak. It was a little dry and just didn’t have good flavor. Maybe it was a fluke?
