Used to be really good. It’s been going downhill the last couple times I’ve been there. I doubt I will be back anymore but if I do, I will just stay away from the barbecue.
It was amazing before the new owner took over. Not sure what they are doing different but whatever changes they made definitely were not for the better.
I wish them lots of luck. Definitely nice people but their barbecue game needs to be upped. I would start with taking burnt ends off the menu. You can tell they’ve been sitting around for a while very dry and hard. If you can’t do it great, don’t do it. Almost tasted like a chuck roast that was cubed rather than being brisket or it was just the flat end of the brisket they didn’t actually make it from the point. The ham used to be to die for. Not sure what they are doing now but it’s pretty much hard and dry

The burnin’ burger was phenomenal! Hands down the best meal I’ve had in a long time. Their sweet potato waffle fries were very good as well as their in house BBQ sauce. Rachel was a fantastic waitress. Very prompt, personable, and professional!

Lights out! We had a great time and awesome food. Waitress, however, bragged about being able to talk on her personal cell phone while waiting on us…good thing I was not in charge of her tip. About 9 teachers and some. Most had opinions about her choices. Some order issues. Owner was great, especially once they lost power. Food deserves 4.5 stars, as well as management…service needs lessons.

I ordered the rib plate. The fries were good, but the ribs were horrible. They were comparable to jerky. The side salad was fresh. This meal was definitely NOT worth $13.99. Skip the ribs and order some brisket or burnt ends. Hopefully they will be better than the ribs.

Service was slow.. (there were 2 other customers in there besides us) it was very cold in there as well… (everyone was wearing coats and gloves) coffee was very weak… food came out cold… plus my meal came out not as ordered… waitress said she was sorry… after waiting over a half hour in a restaurant for some hash browns and some sausage… told her not

You can be the 1st person in the door and order. People come in 15 minutes after you do will get their order and have it ate before you see your order. They got eggs bacon hash browns and I ordered B&G 40 min later you might see it. If you ask the waitress where the heck is your order she will say she has no control over how the orders come out. Gave them another try and they were closed. No telling if they will be open for breakfast. They close with no notice.

This place was super good! All the smoked meats were perfect, the sides were delicious and we’re excited to go home and eat our desserts we took to-go. Our server Sara was awesome. We will definitely be back!

I don’t know what those 1-star reviews are talking about. I live in Wellsville and come to Smokey’s regularly. Service is always attentive and food is always hot; fresh to order. Best place in Franklin county to sit, have a beer and order To-go, and that’s a fact!!
