We made reservations at Duke’s Tavern this evening so we could try their fish fry that I had heard so much about…
What a phenomenal experience!
I enjoyed their beer battered haddock fish fry which is typically accompanied by fries (wedge style) and coleslaw, however, our server, Matthew, welcomed the option to sub out anything off of the sides menu if we wanted. I elected to go for the Mac and cheese in exchange for the coleslaw. Everything was delicious!
My wife chose the lemon pepper broiled fish and thought it was very tasty/. Hers was served with fries and roasted brussels sprouts.
Servings are plentiful at Duke’s and you will most likely be taking some home for lunch.
The bar at Duke’s is outstanding. A very wide selection of spirits and beers can be found at the bar.
Mike, the bartender, made me a Basil Hayden smoked old fashioned that was amazing and delicious!
As good as the food and drinks were, the star of the show tonight was our served, Matthew. He was knowledgeable, attentive, friendly, and helpful.
Very polite and well spoken. It was clear that Matthew puts effort into making sure that his guests not only enjoy their meal, but that they enjoy the full experience.
Thank you! Well done! We will be back soon!

Stopped for dinner with friends and really enjoyed the experience. I had the salmon and it was outstanding. Others had the pork chops and really enjoyed them. Saturday nights they had live music and they were great also. Great service and food, we will return. Oh and the owner was in sure interacting, great guy!

We were 4 ladies out for happy hour and dinner. The drinks were all great, I had the smoked guitar (rye and cognac) delicious! The Asian salad wasn’t great, we sent that back, the salad was nice it was the dressing that needs some work, the other meals were all excellent!! We sat on the patio, I would like to see more flowers hanging or around out there but just so you don’t feel like you’re sitting in a parking lot.
I have attached some pics. I would go back and in fact I plan to take my husband! I would recommend dining here!

Duke’s Tavern is a great place to dine. The food is consistently very good and the atmosphere is a mix of cosmopolitan and casual. Our server Wednesday was Matt. He was great! It was the type of service I’d expect at a high-end restaurant but Duke’s is reasonably priced. Matt was attentive, very well versed on the menu and quick. He picks up on details (like a surprise birthday candle in my husband’s desert). It’s the little things that added up to a great experience. Thanks Matt!

We had never been to Duke’s Tavern before, and had purchased a Clipp coupon, so we thought we’d give it a try as we were looking for a local establishment that we might, if satisfied by service, food, and atmosphere, might visit frequently. Before we ordered, we informed the waiter that we had a Clipp coupon and were told that it would be accepted. We ordered drinks and meals which were tasty but not mind-blowing. When we asked for the check, the waiter informed us AT THAT TIME that, unfortunately, the manager would NOT accept the coupon due to it being a holiday. I need to add at this point that there is NOTHING on the coupon that reads that holidays are excluded; in fact, no dates or events of any sort are excluded. The waiter remarked that we could use it “next time.” There will not be a next time at Duke’s for us.

We spotted Duke’s on a drive by and finally had the chance to stop in. We absolutely LOVED it. The atmosphere, vibes and music was on point. The cloth napkins and tiny S&P shakers were a nice touch.
Greeted right when we sat down. Our server Matthew PHENOMENAL. We both agreed we haven’t had this level of quality of service in so long that we can’t even recall.
I had the Classic burger and my husband had the special, the California burger. We both loved that it was 2 patties cooked perfectly and they were delicious.
We will definitely be back soon. All the food we saw come out looked yummy. The pricing is extremely fair and the portions are not skimpy for sure.

My husband and I wanted to check out a new restaurant and decided on this place.
We both had the burnt ends for appetizer and they were pretty good and very big and tender.
I also had the New York cutlet with their Mac and cheese on the side and it was ok.
My husband went for the smash burger and he also said it was ok.

We had a very tasty dinner at Duke’s with our girls tonight. Our waiter, Zachary, was very friendly. Food was brought out reasonably fast. If I had ONE thing to nit pick, it would be that I wish they offered more gluten-free options. But don’t get me wrong, everything we ate was delicious. I had the Oak Salad with grilled chicken. My youngest had pasta, and my older daughter had chicken fingers that came with waffle fries, and the portions were GENEROUS. My husband had the Chop Chop Salad and Burnt Ends. He said everything was amazing. Even though the name and general atmosphere changed, Justin is still running a top-notch restaurant.

Enjoyed a great dining experience for our first visit. Ordered the PB & jelly and hot Cajun wings with a Hayburner and Pinot. Then ordered the Philly burger of the week and the Milanese. Everything exceeded our expectations! Exceptional service x30 from our server Matt! We plan to return asap. Thanks also to Justin for the customer focus!

Duke’s was incredibly adequate. The menu is not very large so the options were limited. My kids thoroughly enjoyed their food but me steak, while cooked properly in appearance, was like chewing a tire. On the plus side, my drink was good.
