I will be looking for excuses to go back to Caribe in Hartford. The food is amazing and the people are super friendly and helpful. I was clueless about the food and the other customers were helpful too. The prices are reasonable especially considering how good the food is. The portions are generous. The atmosphere is casual.

This used to be my “go to”, but never again. The restaurant has new cooks so the food is no longer good at all. I was highly disappointed that the cook had to make my mofongo three times and he still didn’t make it right. when I got home I was very sad to see it didn’t have garlic inside or anything I asked for. The mofongo was very hard. $120 I spend on 3 people. It’s not worth it at all.ps mofongo are small and different from pictures.

I usually order steak and rice and it is always perfectly seasoned and a satisfying portion size to fill you up. Yuca fries are always great and one of the best breakfast sandwiches you can get. Always a pleasure eating here.
