Very good for fast food. The service was excellent the manager Jaqueline had excellent customer service. The milkshake was made fresh from real ice cream after I ordered it. I had the mint chip shake. It is waaay better than a shamrock shake and no need to wait for St Pattys day either. Clean lobby area and fixins bar to customize your sandwiches. Good selection of beverages as well.

Clean establishment. Food was hot and fresh (other than coleslaw)Incredible variety- something for all. Prices are reasonable. We had the roast beef sliders, 8 piece chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy and coleslaw. Coleslaw did have old pickled/sour taste with dry consistency). Biscuits are delicious! Overall we recommend.

Went in for a Monday lunch. Ordered a spicy chicken sandwich, fries, drink and a chicken thigh. Everything was excellent except for the chicken thighs. Dry, overcooked and extremely tiny. The restaurant was clean, service friendly and atmosphere nice. My sister ordered a Double R Bar which was good.

I was excited to step back to the 80’s but it wasn’t what I remembered.
The burger was warm, not hot. The chicken was, just okay, a little on the dry side for me. As busy as they were I had expected everything to be very fresh and Hot.
I would have given 3 stars if the customer service was friendly and if the place was clean.
I ate in the dinning area, it was not very clean. Food on the floor and tables not wiped clean. The self-service soda area was also not clean.
The employees were not mean or rude they were just, there.
No friendly greetings and no thank you.
Oh well, seems to be my response to myself on most occasions when I go to any retail establishments be it food or merchandise.
I know this review won’t stop other who remember the Good Ole Days so I really hope you have a better experience than I did.

The food here slaps but probably not as hard as the comments I’ll see! Had the steak sandwich with cheese and it was not bad. Always could use more meat but that’s because it’s a fast food place. Super soft bun, steak was good onions etc. It brought back the memories of high school, being a mall rat, late night drinking and needing food, and broken dreams. Probably why I need to go see my therapist again. The creamy coleslaw hit well with the steak and cheese sandwich. And it even made me feel better thinking I’m eating more healthy having coleslaw instead of french fries. Inside and out clean and welcoming and the staff was super friendly and talkative. Definitely need to go here especially if you remember it as a kid. I always felt their burgers and food were a bit above other fast food options.

I finally got here and it did not disappoint! Bought back some fond memories from a long time ago. For years, the only way to get Roy Rodgers was on road trips and turnpike rest stops, and now it’s close. Food was as good as i remember for the rostbeef. And they dont call it horse sauce anymore just horseradish lol. I will be going back.

I grew up eating Roy Rogers in the 90s, back when there were many more locations. Today there are just 3 in NJ. I’ve been to 2 of them, including this one, and they were both about the same. Friendly staff, good atmosphere, and food that is decent but not great. Certainly better than the average BK or McD’s. I feel like they were better in the past, but that could either be due to nostalgia or just that the competition has improved since those days. I wish they’d tighten the screws a bit because I like regional chains like this and want them to succeed. Management should study Jollibee, which has a similar burger/chicken-focused menu but seems to execute it better. They are quickly expanding, and in the likely event that one eventually opens in Cherry Hill, it will be a real problem for Roy’s.

I am truly blown away. I haven’t even looked at a Roy Rogers in like 30 years. I happened to be in the area and figured I’d give it a try.

This place is running like a well-oiled machine. It is very well staff, food is fast, and fresh, and they have somebody making sure everything is clean. Jeff was incredibly friendly and welcoming and ensured that the order was accurate. I like the sauce selection, and that barbecue sauce is unique. Paper towels well stocked in the bathroom.
I usually don’t like going out to eat at fast food or fast casual anymore because it’s gotten so depressing and dystopian. This place was anything but. Keep doing what you’re doing, I can see why the place was super busy today. Great food at a reasonable price and great service. I will be a regular customer.

When they opened a few weeks ago total chaos! The chaos has calmed down, you can park and dine or use the drive thru..

Ordered the 3 piece meal, what they gave me is diabolical/disrespectful…. On what planet does a wing count as a piece… seriously thats the first strike…

It’s absolutely the crunchiest chicken you will bite into, BUT….. the meat is FLAVORLESS , no marinade, no injection of flavor just pure chicken meat – so get some dipping sauces. Other chicken shacks have superior fried chicken, this screams and tastes bland. Oil is low quality, you’ll get hit with a nasty aftertaste.

The cole slaw was pretty good , it is heavy mayo based.

Coke products served.

Probably won’t be coming back, can’t really recommend if you’re looking for fried chicken.
