What a gem in the town of Woodland. These days, it seems harder and harder to have excellent service. The Swiss Chalet knows how to do it right. The food was also quite delicious.
My first time having a sunchoke, it was quite tasty. The presentation was also wonderful, which is also an important part of a dining experience.

This is actually a very good restaurant. From a purely technical standpoint the food is classic French-Swiss, and it’s done quite well. The service was slow, but that’s not a negative. To me if the food takes an hour it’s usually an indication it isn’t just quickly microwaved or reheated for convenience. You could tell somebody took their time to get the flavours right, and everything was about as good as a restaurant of this genre can be within reason. I was impressed, and will be back soon.

And excellent casual fine dining experience. Two of us had the schnitzel and really enjoyed it. Wife had the paella that she liked a lot. The other lady in our group had the Kasespatzle. She loved the flavor but found it salty. Creme Brule was enjoyed by all. Service friendly and professional. A pleasant surprise.

My husband and I went here on a date night. We both absolutely loved everything about Swiss Chalet. The atmosphere is wonderful, charming, and quiet. The food is top notch. Some of the best food we’ve had in Colorado. We tried the Escargot appetizer, rack of lamb, and filet mignon. We will definitely be going back. We did hear that it is under contract to be sold by the end of the year. Hopefully nothing about this place changes!

Exquisite experience. It was the best food I’ve had at a restaurant in a long time. I had the Almond Rosemary Salmon, my husband had Shrimp Scampi and my sister got the Pork. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. Very satisfying. Portions were perfect and we were all very happy with the service and meal. The woman waiter was very kind and attentive, they served us all our food at the same time, and made sure we were comfortable. I also got a hot chocolate and the waiter offered to add peppermint schnapps to it which made it especially good! Will definitely be back!

I had the Jägerschnitzel, and my girlfriend had the Chilean Sea Bass. Both were delicious. We shared a creme brulee for desert. The waitstaff were very friendly, and did a great job. We had a good time.

A very cute and reasonably priced fine dining option with well prepared traditional Swiss dishes. It’s located in a quiet setting in Woodland Park in a cozy cabin atmosphere. The food is well-prepared and staff is friendly. We ordered the cheese fondue for a starter (tasty cheese but served with plain, cheap bread). All entrees come with the excellent house salad. For our main entrees we had the Chicken Cordon Bleu and the Pork Chop with Brie and a Lingonberry Glaze. Both dishes were very good and cooked perfectly. We finished a great evening by sharing the generous-sized Creme Brulee. A lovely evening!
