We stopped by on 12/29/25 for a bite to eat before heading back into the city. I always like trying the smaller places as the food/service are usually the best. I was pretty disappointed in this experience. We ate for 3 people, spent $97.00 (no alcohol), and regretted every cent spent. We put our food order in and got one of our appetizers and finished it before we even got our drinks (sodas). We had a pretzel with the beer cheese. Pretzel was good but beer cheese was cold and was chalky. We also got wings, they were pretty good but questionable on price. We ordered “the duke” meat lovers pizza and we watched it get put in the window as it got super cold before making its way to our table. The pizza was burnt on one side, the cheese wasn’t all the way melted under the top layer of toppings, and the crust was very tough. The waitress and the kitchen guy were arguing back and forth during our time there and clearly lacked any proper communication or plan to ensure food prep and delivery worked hand in hand to serve hot food. Multiple folks came in after us and weren’t helped so they just left. Overall, pretty poor experience but maybe they just need more time to work out all the kinks of running a business like this. I would encourage anyone to still give them a try but just don’t have super high expectations.

Our family loved Blackwater! The food was SO good, the drinks were great and the service was fast and friendly. Michael was our server. He greeted us right when we walked in, was very attentive and helpful. We’re excited that Blackwater has come to North Bend. We’ll be back and definitely recommend.

Wanted to try the new place in town. I placed a to go order for Cobb salad and a slice of cake. Spent $35 with tip. Was disappointed when I opened my salad box. Chef neglected to put the chicken in the box, used lunch meat ham and didn’t cut the lettuce all the way through. Ranch dressing also very watery. Definitely not worth $18. Cake was good but also not worth $9. I did call and talk to them about the no chicken, they said they would refund me $3 but still wouldn’t be worth the price in my opinion. There are better options in town, I won’t be back.

I reserved tables for about 20 people for a women’s event Thursday, January 8. Sam was our main server and he was excellent! The entire staff were attentive and awesome to the group as well. Several people ordered food, and I heard only good things about the wings, pulled pork, and pizza. The food was brought out promptly and again the service was amazing! Thank you Blackwater so much for helping make this women’s event so special. I sampled all three IPAs, which were all amazing, but I chose the hazy IPA and I strongly recommend it!! Even though their menu is limited, they will make you any kind of pizza you want with the ingredients they have so if your vegetarian just build your own pizza.

I’ve been twice and I think that this will turn into a solid place to hang out. I appreciate the variety of beers. I’ve tried everything but the IPAs, and while the red ale and lager were my faves, there is nothing I wouldn’t have again. Wood fired pizza and atmosphere was good. They are still working out the kinks in service, but everyone was super friendly and they can split the check easily.

I’m a regular at their Redmond location and wanted to take the drive to support Bri and the owners grand opening.
As a Redmond customer I’m now jealous cause this spot has all the new cool stuff like a wood fire pizza oven! I thought the pizza at Redmond was amazing, the pizza here is like 100 times better.
I had champagne which was yummy.
The staff working when I was here were amazing, wonderful interaction, quick service, and great customer service!
The atmosphere is fantastic, the large open space helps made the noise level not too bad and it was pretty busy. I’m usually sensitive to loud environments and it was fine for me. TV’s are there but not distracting.
Even though I live in Redmond, I’ll definitely come back.

I wish I could give them a better score, but service really needs to improve. While staff is friendly, it takes forever to get served. We waited for over an hour one night for our food to arrive. Today we came in and sat at the bar. Fifteen minutes later, without even an acknowledgement to say hello, I’m busy and will get to you as soon as I can, we left. They need to hire more staff or, unfortunately, I don’t see this improveing.

This place has the fantastic music, the food is classic brewery food with added flair, just make sure you get everything that is supposed to be included. We didn’t get all our sides, but saw the next customer did.
Also if not sure ask for updated menu for current food options.
Beer on tap has something for everyone.
The service was 10/10 pleasant and informative.
