Great space, decore is nice and clean, not cluttered to much. The sign out front doesn’t fit the menu but, it’s cute (the sign).

We had to drop in and check out the new owner for the space. A new cafe in this area would be an asset to have rite?
Mmmm not from this visit it seems.

The service was a bit slow. There were only two other people in there and they were talking up the place while the “owner” sat having a discussion with them. After she had finished talking she walked around to the counter and asked what we would like. It was mostly Mexican food with a little desert case (and of course they had coffee).
We picked up a quesadilla (didn’t specify cheese or not), a piece of apple pie, a breakfast burrito and large horchata. The best part was the scratch made, floury, wheat tortillas. Quesadila Had just cheese in it and was very small and bland even with hot sauce add. The horchata was grainy and definitely a mix (no creamy milk rice flavor at all). The burritos was SUPER salty and mostly potato. The apple pie was a mushy sugar pie and soft crust.

It took over 15 minutes for us to get it (still no one in the place but the “friends”) and she forgot my apple pie all together. I had to remind her I ordered it.

Unfortunately this is a not recommend for me. Maybe soon they will refine a bit and get more cafe like, with attention to flavor.

The sweetest lady owns this Cafe. The staff are always friendly. You can never go wrong with the specials. And she has beautiful beadwork through out her cafe you can purchase. Love this little café.

I love this place. The owner is very kind and the food options are nice. Very affordable I would say. Their champurrado is so freaking good, best one I’ve tried tbh. And the posole on the weekends is fantastic as well. Sometimes they’re playing light cumbia music but I wish they played it all the time, I love hearing cumbia in there! Overall, good service, welcoming atmosphere and delicious food! 🙂

Absolutely phenomenal! The Mexican hot chocolate is the most delicious drink I’ve ever had, the breakfast burritos are phenomenal, and the staff, we had Sergio serving us, were the absolute sweetest. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Love this place. The staff are so amazing and friendly. I love the woman running the show. Food is great and the definitely have the most unique baked goods in the area. They have a wide variety of drinks so there’s something her for everyone.

Also very reasonably priced for a downtown coffee shop. It’s easy to keep the bill under $10 even with a tip

Wow! This is how it’s done! Owner (and whole family I think) are a perfect level of gracious hosting. Tables are set far enough apart, no crowded feeling. Chairs are padded captain’s chairs – so very comfortable: no flat butt planks here! Their soups are very good – highly recommend the clam chowder on Friday and the potato soup during the week. We were there twice in the week. Says something. OMG – Try the chocolate /coffee layered cake!

Looks like the reviewer who posted a 1 star review had never posted a review on here before and mixed up the direction of the star ratings – their comments were all complimentary!

All the items I got were delicious. The daily soup and sandwich were my absolute fave-tomato red pepper and grilled cheese. Spiced coffee and flan were so yummy as dessert. This new cafe is so cute and would be a fun spot to meet up with friends.

We were passing through recently and stopped in for some breakfast food, the burritos and cinnamon roll were great! In addition the lovely lady at the front counter gave my little daughter a cookie and it made her whole day.

If we end up back in the area will definitely stop again!

First time to Luna’s, meet up with a couple of friends. Cozy, comfy chairs warm atmosphere. Coffee, black, nice, service friendly. Not very busy on a Friday 8am. We all had breakfast burritos, small portions but priced accordingly. Small menu but worked well for us, we were even offered some off menu items they could make up. Easy to converse and might just become a regular.
