2/8/26. 1st time here. I had the fish Poboy. It was a lot of food. More than I expected. The fish sandwich was pretty good it was hot and fresh. I liked the skinny fires.

It is just awful since they moved to Belle Terre Blvd. Daughter and I got two different plates and they both tasted like soap and mold. My fish was rancid, and the bread had mold. Should have known that something was a mis when there were no customers.

Ordered the salmon and shrimp plate. The salmon was dry, can taste that it was frozen not fresh. The salmon lacked seasoning and was covered in raw onion and bell peppers. They were out of mac and cheese, fried green tomatoes, spicy honey and we were not told any of this until after everything was paid for. Very disappointed.

How I called for just onion rings at 7:26pm to order by phone. She said it will be ready in15mins I got there at 740pm and paid. I asked how much longer and he just drop them at 800pm and there not ready yet. I got my money back.

Not very comfortable dining area, just a few tables in a bare room with a counter seating area.

Labor Day and most places are closed and that made us LUCKY! We came across Sam’s Southern Eatery and what a WIN. Fried shrimp, fries, red beans and rice on one plate and the other was fried oysters, grilled fish covered with delicious smoothed onions and green peppers! The gentleman serving us was excellent and took care of everything promptly. Life is good with southern seafood goodness in your belly I highly recommend Sam’s Southern Eatery. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Stopped in for quick bite….waitress was OUTSTANDING! So sweet to us and was managing multiple ppl by herself and we never felt neglected.
We had the fish, shrimp, fried okra, mozza sticks and fries.
The mozza sticks were soooo good i could have just eaten those! Catfish was Swai but i didn’t know that so not impressed by though was seasoned good! Fries were really good too. Hubby didn’t say much about shrimp and okra so i guess overall it was “good enough.”
Greasy spoon type place but GREAT portions, prices and service! Menu was extensive so DO go and check it out!
