Nostalgia….. We found a Grandy’s in Victoria.
There is something about that thin frozen chicken fried steak that is fresh out of the freezer. Wish I had a white pepper gravy. The rolls are still super good.
Okay, not the best but brings back a lot of great memories.

It’s definitely a nice spot for good food. Traveling through the area and stopped by to give it a try. The meal exceeded my expectations as the chicken was both crisp and flavorful. The coleslaw and fries were both very good as well.

Run down little old school chicken place.not Worth the price. I ordered a two-piece with a biscuit. The biscuit was crap. The chicken was whatever. Not bad but nothing special. The place looks like a holdover from the late ’70s. It looks like the kind of place I normally really love. But no, I was very disappointed it wasn’t a local gem. It’s just blah.

Amongst the most delicious fried chickens I’ve ever had: crispy, tender, full of flavor. Tasted somewhat like very good chicken soup. The sides were also excellent.

I was a bit disappointed. Hadn’t been to a Grandy’s in many years. It was breakfast. They didn’t have any milk. I didn’t care for the biscuits. Expected food to be hot but was just barely warm. We won’t be going back.

Found this gem in Victoria, TX. I haven’t eaten at Grandy’s in many many years. Glad to see this one looks to be doing very well. The food was exactly as I remember it and the rolls were heaven as they’ve always been. Inside is like taking a step back in time.

This place is actually doodoo I would never recommend it fast to get but food is dry. I got catfish and that thing was dry and probably from a frozen or left out. Don’t get me started with the green beans were dry and tasted like they just came out a can no season and bacon was gray. The only decent thing was the fries but even they were kinda dry. If you really want an edible food I would recommend mc Donald’s. (The seasoning on the green beans were from me)

Same great taste. Same great price. Nothing on the menu that will disappoint. Everything is great.. People in Texas travel all the way to Victoria, Texas to come eat at Grandy’s.. Corpus Christi, San Antonio and Houston no longer have Grandy’s.
