Reviews
Great food, great pacing, and the kind of place that makes you want to come back and order differently just to test the bench.
Had the black seafood pasta. Forgot the Italian name. Noodles were really well cooked. Olive oil type sauce. The calamari was good not great. Same with shrimp. $30.
Bread plate was very plane. Amazed they charge what they charge for that.
White Chocolate bread pudding was the best thing we had.
Atmosphere was ok. Did not really enjoy sitting right by the hostess stand and front door. Had to fight the cold breeze all night.
Did like that they had a tree in the front made it nice
Also wished I knew they had parking and valet there before parking on the street.
Almost $600 for a party of 4.
I arrived a few minutes before my party . Even though we made a reservation and they still seated me and were so kind when I said they were running behind.
Once they arrived we ordered the fritto misto (calamari) it was phenomenal the pieces of fish which I believe is cod was a wonderful surprise the flavors were magnificent and the portion was perfect for 3 probably one of the best I’ve ever had . The deep fried lemon was a pleasant surprise and a perfect pallet cleanser .
We also ordered a fresh arugula, peach buratta salad my only criticism was that it needed a bit more balsamic glaze it was a bit too light for thr salad .
For my main I ordered
agnolotti which was a short rib filled ravioli with truffle butter and shiitake mushrooms. Oh my lordt I have never had a pasta so incredibly divine in flavor . Wonderful experience. Wonderful staff . Definitely a great place to go for date night / girls night.
We started with pane which is their rosemary sourdough focaccia bread. It was so good we almost ordered a second one! Then the main course: between my wife, son and I had the pappardelle, bistecca and salmone. We also shared sides of the hebed lentils, and salads. The food was fantastic! We finished the experience with the cheesecake.
What an excellent dining experience. We will definitely be back!!
Parking is free and easy. They also offer valet. The hostess sat us immediately. We arrived at this restaurant about 30 minutes before they closed, and they still accommodated my date & I. We also left about 30 minutes past their closing time. The establishment did not rush us out the door, although they close at 9p on Wednesdays. They encouraged us to take our time.
My Prosecco was thirst-quenching. I had 2 flutes of that. My date ordered 2 glasses of red wine, which tasted good. The waiter rattled off the restaurant’s Wednesday night special, to which I ended up ordering the scallops. My scallop dinner was delectable. I’ll definitely order again. I forgot the name of what my date ordered, but I did capture his meal in the photos/videos. What he ordered tasted amazing.
For dessert, I ordered the bread pudding, topped with chocolate ice cream. It was scrumptious. Last night was my first night dining here, and I’ll definitely return. Before my date took me to this restaurant, he prefaced it by saying that whenever his family is in town, he takes them there. So just by him saying that, I knew I was in good hands by being treated to this restaurant.
So anyways, I enjoyed my experience here and can’t wait for my next visit!!!
P.S. I wish I would have remembered our server’s name to give him a shout-out, but he’s captured in the video. He was attentive and checked on us frequently throughout our time dining inside. He is great at what he does.
For dinner, we enjoyed the roasted duck special, brick-pressed chicken, and ravioli, all of which were beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor. The roasted duck, in particular, was a standout dish, cooked to perfection.
For dessert, we indulged in the white chocolate bread pudding and the apple crostata—both were incredible! The bread pudding was rich and decadent, while the crostata was perfectly balanced with a flaky crust and delicious apple filling.
Overall, Valenza exceeded our expectations in every way. We’ll definitely be returning for another fantastic meal!
