I Wanted something other than steak, pizza, or pasta & stumbled across this hidden gem. Fresh, home-cooked taste every time. My meal came out hot and clearly made to order, with rich, authentic Jamaican flavors in every bite. I ordered the escovieth fish with rice & cabbage and plantain. It was made to order-so did not mind the 15 min wait . (Flavors were phenomenal & different from anything I had) You can tell care goes into the food — comforting, satisfying, and full of real island vibes. Definitely a go-to when I want something genuine and delicious. Prices are modest in comparison to the PRE-made/packaged food from other chain restaurants.

It’s a no-go for me. I ordered food at 11am from Golden Krust thru Door Dash. When the food arrived an hour later (to be expected) it looked like it was food from last week! The pork was burnt and so dry it looked like beef jerky and it was impossible to chew. The chicken was so dry I had to use the sauce that came with it, which is tasted like A-1 Steak Sauce. So disappointed and will not return or recommend.

Most polite and friendly staff I have experienced in a restaurant! I felt so welcomed! The food was delicious and the portions were huge especially with the price. We will definitely be back! I recommend this for anyone that’s in the area that wants something fast but not fast food. This food has rich home cooked flavors.

By far the best Caribbean/Jamaican cuisine in (SWFL) South West Florida. My family and I have frequented this establishment for many many years and more to come. Ms. Michelle and her family are great hosts. They provide a clean, peaceful environment. Their team has always made us feel welcomed. The food is always fresh, delicious and delightfully lovely. Our absolute go to spot for flavors of the island.

This was recommended by a lady at work. She was so right. My husband and I love this food and I was hoping it lived up to her praise. It sure did!!!!
Curry goat and oxtail were incredible.
Easy parking, fast service, friendly staff.
If Caribbean food is on your radar. Try this one. It won’t disappoint.

My family comes in often to eat and today my fiance came in to get some food like usual and was trying to get his card punched to get credit for the order and the lady at the counter refused because he came in a few days ago with friends and they let him punch his card for their orders as well. Now the lady said he doesn’t get a punch because of that. Bad customer service

❤️ it! Authentic, family owned. Food is great nd service personal!
Jerk chicken, rice and beans with oxtail gravy on the side, cooked cabbage and plantains!
Jerk chicken was moist with tons of seasoning and just a kick of spice but not “spicy.”
I honestly didn’t think I was going to like the cabbage just because I usually don’t but I ate it all!!!
Oxtail gravy on the rice and beans……. OMG! Flaaaaavor!!!
Plantains were delicious.
During my time at the restaurant, there were a lot more takeouts than dine ins but the dining room was clean and the decor nice.
❤️ nd support local!!

Came in for lunch with a friend of mine. I asked to see the menu and was told “she would explain it better”, I listened but then asked to see a Togo menu so I could see the prices and was told that the prices were not correct in the Togo menu. I asked about the lunch combo on the backside of the takeout menu that was about $10 during the week Monday-Friday and this was a Friday afternoon well within the time. I was told it wasn’t very much food. So I ordered the curry goat and a friend had oxtail with rice and peas, slaw and plantains. We got the two dishes and two drinks and the order was $52 without a tip. Crazy. I asked why it was so expensive and was told because we ordered the dinner portion not the lunch combo when I had asked about it multiple times when we came in and was basically told not to order it because it wasn’t a good deal. I asked what the difference between the lunch combo and the dinner portion was and was told no plantains or no slaw and less meat. I would have much preferred to save $20+ and skipped the slaw or plantains. I was also treated very rudely each time I asked about the menu and had questions for some of the food items. I will say the food was delicious and the spices and seasonings used complimented both dishes very well but I’m not in the place to spend $50+ on lunch and I don’t know many people that are. I will most likely not return or be much more insistent about a menu with correct prices before ordering.
