I ate here with my family, will not be returning. What I thought would be some quality time out with my family and a nice meal, quickly turned to a bathroom field trip. All 5 of us experienced horrible abdominal cramps and unmentionable bowel evacuations within 30 minutes of consuming this meal. We had to leave urgently. The bathroom was also not in good shape before we arrived, roach frass was very evident on the walls and light fixtures. This will be reported to the DOH on Monday for sure. Save yourself and your money, go anywhere, anywhere else but here.

Such an awful place. Took my hubs here for dinner after work one day, after ordering the hamburger and tostones I had the worst diarrhea of my life. I have never spent so much time in the bathroom. That little bit of mystery that was left in my marriage is now gone after we fought over the bathroom for the next 24 hours. We are closer than ever thanks to this meal, however his colostomy bag burst while I was using the toilet and now my bathroom sink is clogged. Never again.

Just moved to Lansingburgh and started walking to the local spots. I’m definitely adding this to the rotation. Their hot bar was so inviting- it was difficult choosing what meat to get. Settled on some pernil, rice and peas, beans on top with sweet plantains. But all the stewed meat looked excellent. I also tried the chicharrones. Very satisfying all around and generous portions. People should give it a shot- it’s be a shame let all of this good food go to waste.

Got some white rice with beans and pernil. I got two burnt skin pieces and one solid chunk of meat. Rice was undercooked. I’ve been coming here for about 5 years, it’s been going downhill. Save your money and go to Mi Casa in Troy or Tlayuda Juquilita down the road on 2nd.

I live in the area so I frequented this store often especially bc I work from home. Yesterday I went in for lunch I ordered a small plate with ribs. When I got home the ribs were not edible. Today I went in the young man remembered me and agreed the food was old and hard. He offered me something different and then charged me for it. I asked why I was being charged when he knew he served me old food (the same old food that was still sitting there) he stated I should have brought the food back. Horrible customer service especially knowing you did wrong and served me old food. Any good reviews are coming from family and friends.

I have gotten food from this place atleast 4 times amd every single time, they pretend they dont know english and do not speak or greet you when coming in. They do not greet you or anything upon arrival. This last time we stood staring at each other over the food for at-least a minute because the server guy completely refused to ask me “how are you, what can I get for you” this isnt a one time common occurrence. Why are you staring at me blankly as if I bothered you by walking in? Is this not a business open to the public?? Please do better with the customer service or hire other works with a more welcoming energy. Food is okay!

I got a large plate asked for yellow rice which he basically filled the whole thing with rice, I had asked for 2 pieces of rib, I asked for bistec he gave me 5 pieces I asked for one oxtail and for chiccaron and he gave me a small as piece for it to come out to 40 dollars. The ribs were bad no good flavor and I’m my self am Dominican the rice tasted old the bistec was good and chiccaron was good over priced scam with the rice
