WHY you have a good food , good employee, good spot BUT have this CUP.
This Cup is LOW QUALITY, WEAK MATERIAL and STUPID DESIGN.
I just pull it softly. The Cap fly away easily, faster than ex. It flashed to my clothes. Eat when wet and dirty are not comfortable. Can’t go to work, have to head home after this.
The employee told me that happen oftenly before me. Omg. Where is your responsible? Manager ?? Boss ??
Shout out to Ms Shelly. She served professional and handle situation amazingly. Bravo.

We had never been here before and had a wonderful lunch! You order and pay at the counter via a touchscreen. The menu has a great variety of grilled and fried seafood options, salads, soups, etc. it was all delicious. I wish we had seen that they had fountain drinks before paying $3.99 each for 2 cans of Diet Pepsi however! The servers were friendly and helpful when the brought the food to the table and then checking in on us again.
The shrimp salad bowl was great with a large amount of grilled shrimp. My tuna was a bit overcooked but still delicious. The two sides I chose were the tomatoes, which were great sprinkled with bits of cheese, and the street corn, nicely spiced but could have used a little cheese as well.
Overall great service, reasonably priced, great food.

Pretty good food. Service is solid. Vibe could improve a bit, feels like a cafeteria.
Key note: none of the guests are obese which is not a common sighting nowadays. There’s a reason. The food is a healthy option yet it is tasty and the portions are plentiful.

Fair prices and maybe a littler cheaper than other places in the same industry.
The food tasted good.
Table needed a little more cleaning but it was lunch time and a lot of people, orders etc. So not an issue.
The service was good, helpful and patient.
Taco trio was very good.
Clam chowder was very good.
I will be back again for another dish.

Wandering in Paradise
Had a great dinner at California Fish Grill in Mira Mesa! Love their commitment to sourcing sustainable, great-tasting seafood. We enjoyed the ahi tuna poke bowl, giant shrimp plate, and grilled swai. The food came out quickly and the staff were all very nice and accommodating. We sat on the dog friendly patio. Recommend!

Sadly, this experience led us to recall why we had not returned to California Fish Grill in quite some time. It appears the quality has not met our expectations during our latest visit.

Clean restaurant! Service excellent! Came in just after 2pm on a Sunday and was helped with my order to and through. So grateful for that. Had a Stone Delicious IPA to take the edge of from driving. Had a salmon taco with corn tortillas and immediately had an, “oh wow! “ Moment.not bad at all. Will definitely pay this place another visit.

I stopped by here yesterday to get some food to go. My first time at this location, they have a very adorable outdoor seating with rows of Lights to set a cute ambiance. Inside is very clean, modern, and simple, with some cute fish wallpaper and decor. Service with super nice, there’s gentleman helping individuals with self order, and also an option to order at the counter. I was very impressed with how tentative and helpful the service was, given this isn’t a full service restaurant. I ordered the dynamic shrimp Bowl with cauliflower rice. My mouth was so happy with the slavery combination! The shrimp was cooked perfectly, crispy, and complimented with a great variety of flavor, including a little spice. I’m already craving another order of this dish. Overall I had a great experience and really enjoyed my food. I definitely will be returning customer

My sister brought me here for lunch. It was my first time and we ordered Mahi Mahi and Swai platters for lunch with a side of coconut shrimp.
I love fish and they definitely delivered! The food was soooo good! And their prices were reasonable. Restaurant was clean, staff friendly and helpful. As we left, they started to become busier due to the lunch crowd.
Highly recommended and would definitely be back!

We tried the sea bass and salmon and the sweet potato chips! Amazing all of it!
I am impressed with the food. The staff were super sweet and friendly too.
The service was quick, a good beat and clean place.
