I live about 15miles away from this place but when I’m ever in the area I make it a mission to come to this place . I’ve been coming to this place for about 15 years. Before you could eat inside currently is take our only and they only take cash. I always order a chicharron mixed with buche burrito for me this is the best combination my taste buds. This is good greasy food place. I will keep recommending and keep coming to this place.

The best hole in the wall carnitas restaurant in Long Beach, call ahead to make sure they have what you want, sometimes they run out early because of their popularity sadly to say it happened to me once, I love everything they make specially the cueritos, they are full of flavor and not chewy at all just right.
Parking is pretty scarse, so leave home with plenty of time to look for parking.

The cashier ( who was a lady ) was very rude when entering the building , she scoff at us which was very rude considering we were buying food from that place , and the man who was handling the food SHOULD wear gloves especially when giving the food , he was very rude throwing the meat inside as you can see he didn’t close well enough the lid which splatter everywhere . The food is good but service is always bad . For the lady who was the cashier you should know manners when clients your restaurant and not be so rude and unkind !

This place is take out only. Also, they only accept cash. The service is okay. It gets pretty busy, so we thought the food would be fire. We ordered carnitas tortas & burritos along with an asada taco and a piece of dried chicharron. The taco was okay. The chicharron was good, but the carnitas were flavorless and on the dried side. We will not be returning.

I drove 20 mins to buy carnitas and when I got home I realized they game me a bunch of dried up meat. I made 1 taco and it was hard to eat so I called them and told them I ordered 25 dollars worth of meat and it was super dry and I also ordered 2 dozen of tortillas just for them to heat them up by twos and when I got home they were all sweaty, hard and stuck together. They took down my name told me to go back and they’d give me my money back. I didn’t go that day because I was upset and very sick so I went 2 days later when I felt better. They argued with me for a while before telling me that they’d give me my money back but I would be banned from the restaurant. I got my money and left but I’m very disappointed as I have been going to this restaurant for YEARS. I mean literally like 10-15 years, I’ve moved all over Long Beach and when I want carnitas I always made the drive here no matter what because it was my favorite. Very disappointed with this place.
