Although there was a longer wait due to a busy Friday night, the overall experience was very pleasant. My wife and I were seated and felt genuinely cared for by the staff. There was a small delay initially, but our server was extremely apologetic and checked on us multiple times throughout the meal to ensure everything was okay. Her kindness and professionalism truly stood out and made us feel valued. We appreciated the attentive service and look forward to coming back.

Was craving some authentic Korean spicy soup while on vacation and this hit the spot. The LA galbi was on point too.

Hole in the wall restaurant with delicious Korean-Hawaiian food. Warm and friendly service and a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend. Parking is a little confusing, just pull into the cement structure on the ground floor.

Such an incredible and special spot! My wife and I are obsessed with Korean food, and we’ve spent a lot of time in Korea eating local food. This restaurant in Wailuku is going to become one of our new favorite spots. The food is delicious and the staff are wonderful. Even better they accommodate all diets and have several vegan options on the menu, including Jopchae noodles, veg stir fried rice, and vegan banchan dishes.
I’m very grateful that this place exist and will continue to support this business!

We ordered beef kalbi and grilled pork belly. The food was good, portions were decent, and service was fine — but the pricing was not.
The dishes were $28 and $36 ($64 total). With 13.4% tax they claimed it came to about $74. There was an additional 5% card fee (clearly posted, so no issue there), bringing it to around $78. Then a 20% tip was automatically written in without asking, another ~$15, for a final total of $93 for two dishes.
Unfortunately, this will be my last visit.

Didn’t have much expectations at first but it was the best meal we had during our stay in Maui. The side dishes are on point and the main dishes are very authentic. As a Korean-American, I highly recommend it.

10/10 recommend. Got there at 9 as kitchen was closing. The sweetest lady took us in and let us order. The food was absolutely delicious. She gave us some pupus to start then we had the fried dumplings, Shrimp and vegetable pan fried, and bulgogi and japchae. Everything had so much good flavor, vegetables, and proteins cooked to perfection. Will be back.

Spontaneously searched for Korean food on our way back from Haleakala and found this place, ended up being our favorite restaurant on the island. Ordered takeout on two different occasions and both were delicious. Ladies at the place were very friendly too. When we come back to Maui again in the future, we’ll def come back here again.

1st time into this establishment. Must be 21 years old to enter. Friendly customer service from these two beautiful Korean ladies. Their food is Ono! Sorry, there are no pictures at this time. The atmosphere is heartwarming. I’m looking forward to going back. ☺️
2-14 2nd time. This time got the strawberry soju. Along with the bulgogi and japchae, sweet and sour pork, and butter garlic shrimp. Satisfied!

This place is epic, reminded me of being back in Korea or even Japan. Small cozy spot a ways away from modern tourist infrastructure. It felt homie and took me back to the past. Most authentic Korean menu I’ve found on island by far and I can’t wait to go back. Banchan and dishes were excellent and felt healthy even. Really glad I found this spot as Maui continues to change and cater less to local people. Thankyou
