Lastnight 11/07/25 was my 1st and probably my last time. Everything had its own unique nasty taste to it. I was with a Retirement party and majority of our group had to wait forever for the food to come. When it finally came ,the fish was seasoned well but tasted like fresh mud water, the onions rings had this peculiar unseasoned taste. People were sending their food back or leaving it on the table. Ordered a sweet tea lemonade, it even had an old taste to it, like it was old or the container it came from wasn’t clean. So I tried just the sweet tea,,it was not good, so I ended up getting a water to go. The service was not good.The waiters were all in their own world, kept huddling by the front entrance area. Our waiter never came to ask the table if we needed anything. Once she brought your food you had to yell or catch her by the bar. The atmosphere was nice but the food and service needs Major improvement. Money and time waisted, I left still hungry after spending money at Hunter Crab. Hope you guys will train your staff better and taste test the food before sending it out!!

The food was good, as comparable as any of the other boiled seafood places round here. The lobster sandwich was pretty dagum big, which prompted this review in the first place.
My wife got the sandwich, but to me the lobster flavor was ok. I guess im more of a shrimp person. Although, my shrimp was difficult to peel.
Service was top notch. Our waitress took good care of us.
Do be aware, gratuity is automatic, no matter the number in your party.

I ordered the 1/2 crab, 1/2 shrimp, potatoes and corn seafood bag. This was by far the worse seafood I’ve had. The crab and potatoes looked/tasted old, the sausages were flimsy. I will not be a repeat customer

First time going here I can say it was pretty good. The calamari was okay the oysters were okay could be better true shrimp basket was great huge shrimps catfish great asking and the crawfish was good. I recommend going on a weekday tonight was not busy overall a great experience will go again. The drinks were on point. Kat the bartender will get you right. I didn’t seat at the bar she will bring them too you. Go see Kat!. Tuesday and Sunday are very slow around 7 great services. Madison the waitress is awesome

I HATE the smell of seafood HOWEVER when we went to this place, it DID NOT SMELL like seafood AT ALL. It actually smelled pretty good. Our server Jason was amazing and gave us feedback. The wings were regular and like nay other wings. They were crunchy and did not taste like they were fried in fish grease. I do prefer the regular fries over the Cajun fries. The catfish platter was phenomenal. The seasoning was off the chain and very crunchy. His seafood looked amazing but i am not a fan of it so o just watched him eat it. My hubby said it was good lol. The cheesecake taste store bought but good. The onion rings were ok. Nothing special tho. Its just regular cheesecake. The place was clean and they have a bar. We went around 745 ish and it was nit packed. It is a wk day. I would probably not try the wknd lol. All in all, we will be going back. Ooooh you will get full. We got all the food listed for 100 dollars. Update 4/30… I went back for the drinks and the chicken tender basket. The bartender named KAT did her thang! Our drinks were amazing. Not too sweet and not a lot of alcohol. The right mix for a Sunday. I would recommend her. The strips didnt taste like fish grease and were tasty.

Never heard of this place but my daughter loves seafood bags and we stopped by to try it. Service was great. Clean laid back atmosphere and prices very reasonable for a seafood spot. Didn’t get pic of the onion rings and seafood bag but it was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Chicken wing platter was well worth it for the portion and price.

What a time we at Memphis Athletic Ministries had at this place. The food was amazing and the staff was very nice. I took my girls on a field trip, party of about 40-45. Great Hunter did they thing I highly recommend. They greeted us with our own section and plus a banner the girls and I really enjoyed this intentional time together

We are here now and the servers have left a lot to be desired. We got our food fairly quickly. Still waiting on our drinks. The host is more of a server and he is quite anti social. Food is great though . We won’t be back
P.s I guess we won’t get our drinks or service every one is busy talking and gossiping in the back. The attitudes are terrible

The lemon pepper was not what we are used to very unique taste but not something we liked. Waiter was very soft spoken, spilled garlic butter on my Dad but was very apologetic and kind. Hunter Special sauce was decent. Green mussels were over cooked, shrimp was good, and hush puppies were bland. Our first time but don’t we will be back.

My first time actually trying seafood. I was impressed! This location is fairly new and the only in the city. Not too crowded. I tried the boil bag with half lobster and shrimp. Delicious! So much flavor and seasoning. Management (Jazmine) was very nice and interactive. They also have a live DJ to make the place a vibe! I will definitely be coming back
