First time visiting this restaurant. Nicely decorated and a lot of space. We both ordered the Chicken Tenders…mine was beer battered with side of potato salad & Boom Boom sauce, husband’s was pretzel battered with side of fries with Garlic Parmesan. Tenders were hot, very juicy and crunchy!! The fries were excellent!! I was a little shocked that a glass of soda (I had a Pepsi) cost $3.50…it’s been awhile since I ordered a soda in a restaurant.

Good food and service. Beer battered has strong flavor that you don’t even need to dip them in the ranch. Fried mushroom was good, monthly special burger was delicious, it had a lot of toppings with it. My only complaint is pretzel battered chicken strips, this used to be my favourite, but I don’t know if the recipe had changed, or just this batch didn’t get prepared well, they tasted really bland and still had yellow fat under crust. Also the crust tasted nothing about pretzel.

Stayed at a hotel in Genesco to wait out thunderstorms, so we walked to Sweet Pea’s for lunch before hitting the road. The food was great, but our server made our day!

The worst service I’ve ever received from any restaurant in my life time. Had the pulled pork dinner. The pulled pork was dry. The baked potato was cold. The dish of coleslaw was only half way filled up in the bowl and was mainly coleslaw juice. The beer came in a bottle. Was expecting a draft beer. Most places ask you bottle or draft so you can choose. When the pulled pork dinner came out. it was in a bowl. I was thinking I’d get a bun or roll to make a sandwich or it would already be a sandwich. The way it reads on the menu it says pulled pork is piled high along with saying something else then say includes two sides. They do have a pulled pork sandwich on the menu that doesn’t include sides. So I thought that was where the price difference was and I’d still get a sandwich only with two sides because I was paying more. I tried to talk to the waitress she just argued with me about it while I tried to explain and said I’ll bring a bun but you’ll pay $2.00 extra for it. I tried to talk to the manager that said her name was Tammy and explained the issues to her. Tammy just said yeah OK with a smirk on her face. I asked if she could do something to fix the issue? She said nope while still smiling. I told her we would not be returning with service like this. Tammy said so !! Then turned around and walked away. I would not recommend anyone go to this restaurant.

Had a Family get together for Christmas here. Had it in their party room. Very nice secluded room. Our waitress was FANTASTIC! She got our orders all right and everything. There were like 14 people there too. The food was delicious. I personally had the meat sampler. Omg! The ribs fell off the bones. Every meat was tender and juicy. I tried the bourbon sauce. The was sweet and tasty. All in all it was a great place to eat. INCLUDING if you have a group. I’d recommend Sweet Peas and we’ll be going back again and again.
