Been’ there
Great taqueria. They add guac like in Baja. There is a small salsa bar with great tasting salsas. Then you can order fried onions and chiles for free. The tacos are tasty and made fresh.

Excellent food and dessert. I come by driving from San Diego and I always make sure to stop here. 10/10 every time.

I had a very disappointing experience with the Agua Fresca con Leche. Not only did the $6 drink lack flavor, but it also had a very off-putting, almost floury taste that made it impossible to finish. When I brought this quality issue to their attention and asked for an exchange or refund, my request was denied. Very disappointing.

Taco Tuesdays – Be patient lines can be long. Food is great and O’Side knows it. If you can get there while everyone else is working lines are bit shorter. After 4 pm expect to wait on Tuesdays. The line might be out the door, but they are fast. I would definitely Tip the guys making your food. The cashier also has a tip jar so you can tip twice if you like.

Frida’s Taqueria was pretty good and not too bad—in fact, it kind of rocked my tortilla-loving soul. The tacos hit that magical sweet spot between “I could eat 50 of these” and “I might already be in a food coma,” and the salsa bar was straight-up badass and pretty good, like a flavor rodeo in tiny plastic cups. I just wish they had all the fixings (where’s the pickled onions love?) and maybe a few more salsa types—give me something that makes me question my life choices in a good way. Overall, it’s the kind of place where your taste buds throw a fiesta and your napkin gives up halfway through.

I strongly advise against hosting fundraising events here. Despite our congregation being loyal customers, our partnership was a disaster. After bringing in 50 people for an event, management completely ghosted us after the event.
Our calls were never returned, and we never received the promised donation.
The staff lacked organization, the food quality was subpar, cleanliness wasn’t met at the salsa bar and dinning area, and the experience felt predatory-the owners/management even tried to pressure us into hosting the same fundraiser event being at two places at once at their new cafe before even knowing if the fundraiser would pan out. It is disappointing to see a local business prioritize greed over community. We will not be returning for future events.

Love Fridas. Just did an uber eats order. Didn’t get 3/4 of our order. The new number (442) doesn’t answer nor has a voicemail set up. Got fries. Didn’t order those. Would love our rice and tacos. Would love a phone that works to call you to get the rest of our order. We did get our corn quesadilla.. doesn’t taste like it normally does.

Delicious tacos and burritos. Varieties of fresh juices. Many customizations. The tipping before service is a little ridiculous, especially after finding out refills were pricey. Other than that, the food hits the spot and it’s a convenient low-key taco spot I enjoy.

Holy wow. Some of the best tacos and nachos I’ve had in a very long time that actually blew my mind. There is so much flavor in every bite, meat was so tender and the chips were perfectly crisp. All the bad reviews are just from taco Tuesday with the line out the door and people who just want something to complain about. Will be back for sure<3

First time visiting this place and the food was “good” but didn’t blow me away by any stretch. The highlight was the salsa bar which had some delicious offerings. There’s no easy way to say this but the service is terrible and confusing. They split the lines and don’t indicate that there’s 2 lines. So there’s lots of people waiting for nothing just so they can get back in line. Expect to spend a lot of time waiting since they only have 2 people preparing the food while the rest of the staff stands around. They need serious help on the serving side to make the experience better. Overall it wasn’t bad and I might come back in the future.
