I’ve never had a positive customer service experience at this location. Every single Dunkin employee here has been cold, rude, and uninterested in interacting in a friendly or even neutral manner. Definitely don’t recommend this location for anyone’s morning coffee, always manages to start my day in a negative way. I highly recommend the Dunkin on Highway 1 in Iowa City, the employees there are amazing.

Very rude every time we go. “Any thing else.” After every item is ordered in drive through and they sound almost annoyed when you get more than 1 item. Food and coffee is good. As we were in drive through today we could here multiple employees complaining about customers while we were at the window.

If I could give a zero star rating- I would. Both my donuts were placed upside down in the bag and so the frosting on my chocolate long John was mashed into the bottom of the bag and the frosting on the other donut was mashed into the bottom donut. So when I went to take them out, there was almost zero frosting on the long John and also on the top of the 2nd donut. I literally paid to throw away two donuts. Never will return to this location.

2nd Street Dunkin is easily the most disappointing location in the county. I get the same latte every day from the highway 6 location with zero issues but whenever I get it from this location it’s basically milk and syrup with no espresso in it. Total waste of money and time between the wrong drink being made and the crazy wait time at just about any time of day. Pick any other location and save yourself time and money!

What a cluster – – had to use the SINGLE touch screen to order, so the wait was long. The onscreen menu did NOT have all the variety of donuts/rolls available. Then trying to get an actual person to help was next to impossible because they were solely focused on their screens. The building filled up with people waiting for their order to get filled. Seriously, it was quicker & more efficient before when you stood in line, ordered at the cash register with a person, who immediately filled your order & you could leave.

Place was dirty, understaffed, staff that was there was either too busy, tired or disgruntled to be friendly, food quality was cheap, Dunkin is sliding its way down the retail cycle right to the bottom.

Dear Dunkin,
Please hire people that can nicely put a lid on the cups. Over a year ago, I thought it was a good idea to switch the cups from styrofoam to paper, but the coffee leaks down the side with every sip when the lids are smashed on. This has happened probably 10-20 times before I decided to write this review. Smashed cups don’t work. Please take the extra 5 seconds and put it on nicely. Also, don’t put the sipping spot on the cup crease. I’m hoping for nicely placed lids and unsmashed cups in 2024! We’ve been good through the remodel and closed lobby. Please care for us coffee drinking customers.
