We visited this restaurant for lunch and ordered Tandoori Chicken, Veg Burger, Kadhai Paneer (mild), and Naan. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was extremely disappointing.
The naan was undercooked, the Kadhai Paneer was excessively spicy despite specifically requesting mild, and the Tandoori Chicken tasted as if it had been prepared days earlier, then reheated with excessive oil. Overall, the food quality did not meet even basic expectations.
Feeling quite embarrassed by the situation, we requested to speak with the owner or manager. We were informed that no manager was available and that the owner had already left. After waiting for about 20–25 minutes, a lady came out and introduced herself as the owner. We calmly explained our concerns regarding the food quality, but she refused to acknowledge any issues and did not offer an apology. Instead, we were simply told to pay the full bill and leave. So, we paid the bill, and left the restaurant.
Overall, it was a very poor experience — disappointing food, unprofessional handling of customer concerns, and extremely rude behavior from the owner. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this restaurant and will not be returning in the future.
I’m always hesitant to order chhole bhature because people serve puris instead. Glad this place knew the difference
This is by far one of the best Indian restaurants we have visited in Canada. We live in the US and visit Canada often. Great staff, got to meet the owner who is super nice and friendly. The food quality is top notch. We had Paneer pakora, Tandoori Chicken, Garlic Naan, Butter Chicken, Chole Bhature, Fish Pakora. Everything was authentic and fresh! Their paneer pakora was super soft, one of my favorites. We will surely be back.
From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed into this clean restaurant by a doting, caring host. We ordered something from nearly every page on the menu, and shared everything. The saffron rice was beautiful, the naan were hot, and the mains were fantastic. We particularly enjoyed the Vindaloo with a hot level of spice, and it wasn’t too hot, it was still flavorful. The chicken Tikka Masala had so much depth of flavor, it blew us away.
Service was terrific, prices were great, and we took lots home.
I recently visited this Indian restaurant
in Grande Prairie, and it was absolutely fantastic! The food was rich in flavor, perfectly cooked, and tasted just like authentic Indian cuisine. Every dish had that perfect balance of spices — fresh, aromatic, and delicious.
The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. They made sure everything was just right and went out of their way to make the dining experience enjoyable. You can really tell they care about their customers and take pride in their service.
If you’re in Grande Prairie and craving amazing Indian food with excellent service, this is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend!
