Excellent value, especially with extra meat and cheese on the large size. It seems on the pricier side until you consider that its about 2 lbs of meat. Meat is tender and juicy without making the sandwich soggy and the hoagie is very fresh. Sides cost a little more than youd expect but you dont come for the onion rings. Great hole in the wall no frills cheesesteaks.

Craving that East Coast classic sandwich – my husband and I decided to try the Philadelphia Cheesesteak for dinner one night. We have driven by this place 1000 times and never stopped in. I called in our order and he went to pick it up.
We each got “the works” cheesesteak which came with sautéed mushrooms, onions, plenty of meat and our choice of cheese. We both decided to do provolone cheese.
The sandwiches were large and quite filling with thinly sliced meat that was not chewy but melted in your mouth. I did an order of waffle fries with my sandwich while my husband ordered classic french fries. The fries were crispy and golden perfection.
So the next time you have a craving for a Philly cheesesteak, come check this place out.

I had the chicken cheese steak it was just chopped chicken on bread. The chicken meat was good but seemed like they used cheap bread. Seems like the price is high to keep up with competition because it wasn’t worth the 22$ I paid for. They didn’t even chop the onions i bit into onions snatching it out the sandwich ugh and the fries are equivalent to McDonald’s fries. I was highly disappointed I would never eat there again. Waste of money go to “The Philly” downtown Sac on K St they’re way better.

I like their sandwiches! The meat is fresh, and the fries are awesome . Their website isn’t working, so I had to place the order over the phone. I recommend trying #2 with extra cheese and extra meat!

$21 with tax and tip for Works Cheesesteak (small), Cheese Fries & Soda (medium). Added the free jalapeños to fries for more nacho zest. Cheesesteak meat was very tender, generous serving for size, and bread was very fresh. Will return.

Being from Philly, I almost want to work here part time. So far this place has what it takes for an awesome cheesesteak. I ordered a cheesesteak with provolone and fried onions on an Amoroso roll. They delivered.
To get the fifth star, they could chop, even dice, the onions smaller. This would help cook the onions quicker and softer. The beef could also do with some more chopping. This will help fill the bread at the bottom as the sandwich was served with the meat near the top (opening) of the sandwich.
The fries, not so good. Thin, overcooked, greasy. If they were homemade fries, oh easily five stars. Steak fries even.
Overall good job. Worth a try. And please stop ordering “yellow liquid cheese”, that stuff is trifln’.

So. This was my first Philly in California. However I rated it a 3 instead of a 4 because of the price for what I received. It shows it’s a lot of meat but it covers the peppers and cheese. Also I paid for EXTRA cheese and I’m upset about my missing cheese. The flavors were there so it has potential. I think I picked a bad time to order because it was an hour before closing. I’ll try it again but not in the near future.
