I finally made it to Uptown Dumplings in Dallas, and honestly it exceeded my expectations. From the moment the food hit the table, you could tell this place takes their dumplings seriously. Every bite had that comforting, satisfying dumpling flavor that makes you want to keep reaching for one more.

The food at Uptown Dumpling is phenomenal! We will definitely be back. We got the Juicy Xiao Long Bao dumplings, Taiwanese Braised Beef Noodles, and full duck. Everything was 10/10.
It was their first week so the menu was limited and it did seem like they were still figuring everything out.
The booths were very far from the tables. Dimming the lights in the evening would help create a nice ambiance. We also had a reservation and we were asked if we wanted the duck and we said yes but you need to tell your server as well when you get there because it can take a long time to cook.
Besides the duck the prices were very reasonable!
Overall we had a wonderful experience and I think after working out a few kinks, this place will be a must go.

Had an amazing experience at Uptown Dumpling! The dim sum was absolutely delectable with every bite so savory. The prawns were also a standout: incredibly flavorful, crispy, and cooked just right. And the braised beef noodle soup was honestly to die for. Lastly, the ambiance was amazing. Love the decor and relaxed feel of the restaurant, it was perfect for a date night.
The whole meal felt like a treat, and you can tell a lot of care goes into the food here. If you’re a fan of great dim sum and hearty noodle soups, Uptown Dumpling is definitely a spot worth visiting. I’ll absolutely be coming back!

Absolutely loved this place. The xiao long bao were juicy and flavorful, and the Peking duck was perfectly crispy. The giant soup dumpling was such a fun surprise and tasted amazing. Definitely one of the best Chinese meals I’ve had in a while!
