Now let’s get into the food. The spice is decent, but the quality of the meat is the lowest grade and insanely overcooked. Tough as an old boot would be a great description.
I won’t be eating here again.
Burgers were cooked to order, two Classics, the burgers were overcooked, not juicy, barely any cheese and the taste was not great. Also the fire roasted tomatoes werent great either. The reviews were good but not good food last night. Based on my experience I would not go back, maybe it was an off night. The tator tots were good but again the Burger experience was not good at all. I guess you need to go for yourself.
The Carolina Slaw burger is amazing. The chili and slaw are made in house and they are delicious! The fried pickles are thick and crispy and amazing. The spicy ranch sauce was also delicious and made in house. The staff are friendly.
The Veggie Burger is delicious. It has a really good texture and nice flavor.
The Brasstown grass-fed beef is the real story. Smashed thin on a screaming-hot flat top, each patty develops those lacy, shattered edges that crackle when you bite through. But they push the technique hard; the beef is smashed so thin and cooked so long it takes on an almost leathery chew, more tough jerky than juicy in places. The cheese fuses to the meat, and their orange sauce (tangy, with a little heat) pools generously on the butcher paper below. Still a two-napkin burger, still satisfying; just know you’re getting crispy over succulent.
Eight minutes from order to table for grass-fed beef is genuinely impressive. The industrial fans move serious air through the space, and the R&B playlist runs louder than conversation-friendly, but that feels intentional. They want you fed and happy, not lingering.
If you’re at American Tobacco and want a burger that punches above its fast-casual weight class, this is the move. Just ask them to go easier on the smash if you like a little pink in the middle.
Order took 30 min to make bit negative there
The melt was delicious but had too much mayo in my opinion
The fries are so thin and tasty
Pickle chips are coined battered pickles. Good. Get soggy with time but tasty
Will come back hopefully less wait time next time
Indoor and outdoor seating
I ordered a spicy burger with tater tots and completely forgot to order a drink. While I was waiting for my food, I realized that the combo was the same price I paid for just the burger and tater tots. I thought it would have been nice if they mentioned that or asked if I wanted a drink, but it’s not a huge deal.
As for the food, the tater tots were the best part. They were well seasoned and pretty good. Unfortunately, the burger was way over seasoned. It tasted like someone was seasoning it, the lid fell off, and they just decided more flavor couldn’t hurt and kept going. Overall, it was probably the worst burger I’ve had in a while.
Very fast and flavorful! The seasoned tots were amazing!
Plenty of indoor seating. Wheelchair accessible, clean bathrooms with a changing table.
Parking on the street is usually easy.
Perfect stop before or after the Bulls game!
