I have been eating here & recommending this restaurant since 2011. I’m surprised I don’t have an old 5 star review on here, actually. In fact, when I moved to Boyd, 30+ mins away, I still made the long drive because it was delicious. That is no more. I have thought the last couple of times that the quality had gone down despite prices skyrocketing but this week was the last straw. Disgusting, stale, tasteless lo mein, mushy flavorless ‘fried’ rice. The quality of the chicken was awful. We couldn’t even eat it. The only thing still somewhat edible were the egg rolls and sweet and sour chicken. The orange, sesame, and general tsos were all disgusting. Orange chicken was at least 50% dried out orange peels. Who even wants that? The meat wontons used to be my FAVORITE. They had ZERO MEAT in all 12 wontons. Tasted like stale, old fryer grease. Inedible. Honestly just a terrible experience all around and I cannot recommend New Skillman any longer. I am sad because I’ve been a long time ,loyal customer. I guess it’s time to find a new Chinese food “home”. We had a good run, I guess. Do better, y’all. This is not acceptable.

overall, it was a good experience. The service was good and friendly and attentive! However, the broccoli was a bit too hard, and the lo mein had little to no flavor. I actually had to use duck sauce just to add some taste to it. But the great service definitely made up for it

I used to eat at the Skillman Wok over on the west side of Fort Worth when I was a kid at least once a week. This is my first time at the Lake Worth Skillman. The portions are way bigger than I remember. The chicken chop suey is really really good.

I don’t do reviews but this spot calls for one. A bit of back story…. I’m from NYC where Chinese for is as legendary as bagels, pizza and a bacon egg and cheese. This spot is the closest thing I’ve found to that flavor. Legit shocked how it took me back home. They even have the OG duck sauce. Straight fire. Don’t miss out. For Texas this spot is ten stars. Couldn’t find this level of Chinese food in a few states.

Just got some Orange chicken, Chow Mein and some shrimp fried rice for takeout. My food was hot and freshly cooked but tasted like it was old. The shrimp fried rice was the worst I ever had, completely tasteless. The orange chicken I have to say was the only good thing about my meal even tho it was also mediocre. This was my first time ever trying it out and will be my last unfortunately.

This place is nasty. I’m not from Texas and got an horrible experience on my birthday which is today which is 1/9. First of all the delivery person took almost an hour to get to me because he decides to do other deliveries!!! Secondly I get my food the instructions wasn’t as follows, plus my food tast nasty like old then they got baby shrimp in here if that was the case I would’ve just got noodles but I haven’t ate nothing since I had me a big breakfast this morning but before I leave and go back home I wanted to see how there Chinese food is in TEXAS AND ITS TRASH! Well my family’s experience was dissatisfied the service was fast to pickup . The food on the other hand was very dry the lo mein was almost gummy texture no flavor please don’t waste your money also I ordered shrimp fried rice with extra shrimp. The amount of shrimp was good, but the shrimp was completely raw. It didn’t even seem to be well cooked. They were very pale too just flavorless. You would think for the price that they charge for this food you’ll be getting good quality so I stress to everyone reading this. Please don’t waste your money look for another place to eat at maybe try taste of Asia. it has never disappointed yet

Chicken stick is great! My favorite. Great portions at a low price. Did I mention great portions? Better bring your appetite! Friendly and polite staff. Also delivery option is a great choice.
