My parents and I went to dinner tonight, and it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. They ordered the New York strip and the seafood linguine, while I had the braised short rib, and every single dish was absolutely phenomenal—beautifully prepared and full of flavor. This is a new, family-run restaurant, and you can truly feel the care and pride they put into everything they do. The service was outstanding, with everyone being incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful throughout the meal. We left feeling so impressed and excited to come back. It’s absolutely worth a visit, and we can’t recommend it enough.

My partner and I stumbled upon Bougainvillea Fresh Cuisine on Yelp and, candidly, took a leap of faith over the more popular spots along the strip in Downtown Palm Springs. It also happened to be my birthday, so the stakes felt a little higher!
This turned out to be one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in years. From the moment we walked in, we felt completely at ease. Eating at Bougainvillea felt like dining at your fancy uncle or auntie’s house: homey, but elevated. If we lived in Palm Springs, this would instantly become one of our favorite neighborhood spots, charming and cozy with exceptionally high-quality food without the frills.
Our server, Alba, was attentive from start to finish, and Chef Alex came to check on our table multiple times throughout the evening. He shared insights on how he crafted the menu, asked for our feedback, and genuinely got to know us. It felt like a private dining experience with the chef himself. He was so present, and honestly, I still don’t know how he made us feel that special while managing multiple tables at the same time!
Fun (and wholesome) fact: several family members work there, and you can feel the strong sense of community, pride and teamwork throughout the entire experience.
Everything was really, really good, and we aren’t just saying that. For dinner, we ordered the White Bolognese with Pappardelle, Fried Calamari, Burrata and Beet Salad, and the Mediterranean Branzino. The star of the show for me was the calamari: unique, light, and refreshing. We were honestly this close to ordering a second round. My partner absolutely loved the White Bolognese with Pappardelle, and I have to agree, it was outstanding. The Mediterranean Branzino was also well done too, and oftentimes, can be a hit or miss at restaurants. This one delivered.
If you haven’t been yet, book a reservation at Bougainvillea before they’re really on the map. They have the right foundation to go really far, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they become fully booked before long. We were even tempted to return during the same trip if we hadn’t already had other reservations lined up.
TLDR: Bougainvillea Fresh Cuisine is absolutely worth adding to your itinerary for Palm Springs!

Wow, the food was exceptional. The service, over the top!. Family run business, the son is waiting tables, father and team cooking in tiny kitchen- they even personally deliver the food. We had the Ceasar salad and mussels to start. The mussels broth was so good! Make sure you order extra bread to dip. The special seafood pasta enrtre was lick your plate good. We finished evening with coconut cake (BTW we dont really like coconut but this cake was light, fluffy, hint of coconut good!) We will definitely return.

Awesome new restaurant that is a MUST try! Hyper focused on incredible food and it shows. Fresh pastas made in house! We went for lunch and can’t wait to get in there for dinner. Highly recommend you try the calamari and the white bolognese, but your can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

This is a cozy restaurant with a menu that brings the best of what they have. This was our first time so we ate family style. We ordered the Caesar salad which was delicious, and the calamari with a sliced pickled cucumber that was out of this world. I would never think of pairing if it goes cucumber in a calamari but let me tell you the palette doesn’t lie.
We also ordered the short ribs the bowling haze and a steak. I am not a pasta eater but this is the first time I ever ate a pasta dish that I loved. I’m a sad at that moment that we were doing family stuff cuz I could have eaten the whole entire bowl myself. Ground veal and pork and the sauce for divine. I dessert was a densen chocolate ganache style with cream. See the pictures for mouth watering delish.

Yes it’s in a strip mall but don’t let that stop you from coming here and enjoying an excellent meal. The service is friendly, efficient and helpful.
The place is tiny: make a reservation or show up on the early side.

Came here for Xmas Eve dinner! I made a reservation over the phone, and staff called me back within 30 min! Super responsive.
The food was delicious! GF, Vegan options available. We were able to also try something new for the night that the family/staff made.

Super happy we checked this little gem out. absolutely loves the food and the service. it is very small so won’t hold many people at this point. We had the jidori chicken which was super flavorful and the pappardelle bolognese which was unreal good. Freshly made pasta! And the family who owns it couldn’t have been nicer, given better service or been more grateful for our visit. We will definitely be back over and over! give it a try!

Love this quaint restaurant. Found them on instagram. Food is fresh and delicious. It’s high quality, organic, and overall healthy. You can taste the quality, ingredients, and freshness. Service is really good. Nice server. He was friendly and prompt. I got the chicken, avocado, bacon wrap and my mom got the burger. Both were excellent. So tasty and good. Their fries are fresh and good too. Restaurant offers a nice ambiance and atmosphere. I’d come back here. Try them out.
