Had an outstanding experience at Yakar Steakhouse. Every dish we ordered was exceptional — beautifully presented, perfectly prepared, and full of flavor. The staff were professional, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout the evening. And their cocktails are absolutely crazy — creative, bold, and seriously impressive.
The best part is that they’re currently running a fun dice promotion where if it lands on “Ya Won,” your meal is free (excluding tax and gratuity). My wife gave it a spin — and actually won! It definitely made an already special night even more memorable.
And the Napoleon dessert? Absolutely outstanding — a must-try.
Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be back!

We chose Yakar based on online reviews and we were not disappointed. The food was tasty, we left nothing on the plates.

To top it off, when we arrived they showed us a big die – on all sides it said Yakar except one which said “Ya won” they said its a new promotion. At check time they came by with a board and a mini die (to play for real) if by chance you throw it and it lands on “Ya won” your meal is on the house (just pay gratuity and tax).
Well, I know I can be lucky but I wasn’t banking on it, I threw it and it landed on “Ya won” so they gave me an adjusted check!
Don’t know how long they’ll keep this promotion going but it’s still worth a visit

We ate dinner here and absolutely loved it! Everything was delicious. The waiters were super friendly and attentive, and the service was excellent. The cocktails were fantastic, and the appetizer portions were very generous — so filling that we had no room for the mains. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

A wonderful steak house with amazing appetizers. Wonderful flavors and portion sizes that fill you to the brim! The wait staff and host were super friendly and want to make sure you haveing a wonderful experience. 5 stars all around, this may just be my new favorite spot in Brooklyn.

The alcoholic drinks and the appetizers were great, but the steak entrees were a disaster. They provided a palette cleanser before the entrees, which I thought was outstanding, but what abtremendous set up for the entree downfall. Where is the salt? Alsi, what steakhouse do not carry garlic and butter sauce. My Cowboy Steak (25 oz) and mashed potatoes for $120 and my buddy’s 16oz Ribeye were not seasoned and it was a bit tough. Use ample salt!!!!! Bland steak! Also, I ordered my steak well-done, and parts of it was slightly pink – YUCK!!! I will not return to this restaurant. We were soooo stunned that we did not think to return the steak dinners, besides we had an appointment at 9pm. Extremely disappointing! Amateur cooking compared to Ruth Chris!

A full five stars without hesitation. Everything was amazing from the moment we walked in until the very end. The staff were warm, patient, and genuinely attentive, making us feel very welcome. Every dish was full of flavor, beautifully prepared, and clearly made with care. From the service to the food to the overall comfort of the place, every part of the experience was outstanding. It’s the kind of spot I’ll be telling my friends and family about because it’s simply too good to keep to myself.
