This northern Indian and Nepalese restaurant just got added to my favorites list. The atmosphere is elegant, a great date night vibe. The food was delightful and the service was borderline stalkish. We had traditional dishes, samosa chat, butter chicken, and lamb vindaloo. We will definitely be back for some of the other dishes that caught our eyes like the fish curry and tandoori dishes.

I have a new favorite, today, for Indian food in D/FW. The lunch buffet was excellent, fresh, and with some delightful flavors I’ve not had before. Some of the more interesting items were the basil fish curry and the spicy chicken choila (served cold). Although they did not have roti available (my usual bread of choice), the garlic naan was served fresh and hot…it was tasty, and not overly dense.
My only regret is that it’s not close to home, but I’ll find a way to return, soon!

Review for Herbs Indian Cuisine
This was our very first time dining at this wonderful restaurant, and what a gem it turned out to be! The location may be a bit tucked away, but my husband and I found it—and now it’s officially a jewel added to our treasure chest of delicious places to eat.
Our waiter, Aadu, was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. He started us off with Paapad and a trio of dips—tamarind, pickle, and parsley. Absolutely delightful.
For dinner, I wanted something light yet flavorful, so I ordered Herb’s Vegetable Soup and a Masala Tea for dessert. My husband chose the Chicken Dum Di Biryani. Let me just say—the quality and flavor were excellent… truly the best I’ve ever tasted, ever. My husband savored every bite of his meal, and the portion was generous enough for two meals, so we happily took home a box.
And did I mention the Naan? The Butter Naan was perfect—soft, warm, and beautifully prepared.
Herbs Indian Cuisine has definitely won us over. We’ll be back!

Tried this place tonight- authentic flavors, very clean, decently priced. Usha and Adarsh provided great service.
We tried the chicken momos, chilli chicken, chow mein, and biryani. Everything was delicious!

By far our favorite Indian restaurant in the H.E.B area. Number one reason for eating here is the depth and complexity of flavor. The curry dishes are excellent and we recommend the Lamb Vindaloo and Butter chicken. The bread service before the meal is a delight and we always look forward to it. Our daughter even chose to have her birthday dinner here one year. P.S. Vampire Penguin is around the corner in the same parking lot and it’s an excellent choice for an after dinner dessert.

Amazing experience. My family and I went here and they had a buffet going so we tried that and I was blown away by the quality of the food. They had butter chicken, Lamb Rogan Josh, tandoori chicken, and much more. The folks who work there are kind and attentive and danced when my toddler sang (very loudly). The interior is very nice, it captures a kind of summer veranda vibe, nice enough for a night out, inviting enough for a family stopping in between chores. Posting this because they nailed it and I hope they are wildly successful but selfishly I hope it stays a well kept secret so it never changes haha.

We had an amazing experience here today. The food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection, everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Since moving from Nashville five years ago, we haven’t been able to find a truly great Indian restaurant despite trying many places around DFW. We’re so happy we discovered Herbs, and we’ll definitely be back.

Having recently moved into the area we’ve tried several Indian restaurants and this one is the only one worthy of a review. Food was delicious as well as the beer (rupee ). Give it a try you’ll leave happier.
