I hosted my sister’s bridal shower at ArTeA and the food and space was perfect. We had 30 people and booked out the whole restaurant. ArTeA was very accommodating of all of my requests and worked closely with me to customize an amazing menu of 9 different savory bites (ocean eclair, lobster ravioli, kimchi deviled egg, turkey bacon macaron, spinach roll with salmon, etc) and 5 dessert bites (peach bunny, tiramisu, mini coconut paradise, mini watermelon, mango passion fruit panna cotta). The food was absolutely delicious and beautiful. All of our guests were raving about the food. The two favorite bites were the lobster ravioli and the tiramisu.

The beverage menu was very unique and a hit with the guests. We ordered the snow blossom cocktail to be premixed and served when guests arrived and then guests could order additional drinks off of the menu. The guests loved the snow blossom cocktail, but they were the most excited for the bubble tea options.

The space was the perfect size for 30 guests to have enough seats for sitting, but plenty of space to stand and mingle. There was plenty of natural light from the windows and the space had a very calming, modern feel. ArTeA also a large TV that we were able to cast a photo slideshow on.

I would highly recommend ArTeA for hosting special events. The owner, Aizhan, was great to work with in planning our event and all of the staff were so friendly, welcoming, and very helpful.

Came here with friends Sunday for lunch—small, cute little cafe inside . Service was excellent here, staff were friendly and attentive! Food was good—enjoyed the Lobster Ravioli and Nomad Pie. My friends got different teas and enjoyed them. The bartenders made delicious White Tea shots! Their bar is limited but they do have the basic liquors to make simple drinks. Didn’t try any of the sweets but they do look super cute!

We always order dairy-free, no-added-sugar cakes and enjoy amazing lunches at Artea Restaurant. We’ve tried many different items on the menu, but we especially love the samsa, soups and their original, tasteful teas- everything is absolutely delicious. We loved the place so much that we decided to host a private event there, and it turned out to be a wonderful decision. The service was exceptional, the restaurant was very clean, and the food was fresh, organic, and incredibly tasty. After the event, we even received feedback saying how cozy, tasty, and fun it was. A big thank you to the owner of Artea for allowing us to host our event there.
It’s a perfect local spot where you can enjoy high-quality food, taste different teas, and admire the beautiful art displayed throughout the restaurant. Highly recommended!

Such a hidden gem! We stopped by ArTeA for tea and desserts. The atmosphere is modern and European-inspired, making it a perfect spot for a casual lunch and a nice dinner in McLean. The vibe is sophisticated yet welcoming. It’s easily one of the best places in the area for post-work cocktails or a weekend catch-up with friends for Afternoon Tea and Medovik (Russian Honey Cake).

Had an absolute blast here! They are very kind and friendly.

We got 3 towers and they explained what each thing was, all of it was delicious and we each had our own favorites.

I did a seasonal muled tea and we both got the Matcha Dream mocktails all of it was delicious and had a lovely time there.

It was not bad, it’s a little pricy for the portion. Some of the desserts were good I liked the macaroons the matcha macaroon filling was very creamy. The pots of tea we had were good I recommend creamy earl grey the aroma was the best. The Spanish waffle was kinda dry and too crispy in my opinion but overall we had very relaxing afternoon there. The ambiance and decoration like paintings on the wall were very enjoyable.

after loving the treats at their attached shop I was lucky enough to have my best friend get a reservation at their restaurant. My expectations were already high because of how delicious the drinks and treats were at the shop (which you can still enjoy at the restaurant!) but the restaurant raised the bar yet again. Gorgeous artwork and decor, such creative drinks and dishes (the stewed cabbage and mushroom soup were to die for) – it was not just a meal but an experience. You can tell immediately on walking in that a lot of care and attention went into each decision behind this restaurant. Delicious, delicious meal and a memory that I’ll never forget! Thank you so much to the ArTeA team for a wonderful time!

I had afternoon tea at ArTeA for my birthday and it was the best decision ever! I made a reservation for 17 people and the owner was super responsive, patient, and accommodating. I exchanged several emails to clarify the seating arrangement, food and tea options beforehand and the process was very smooth and easy! ArTeA has two entrances next to each other; the first is their boba shop/ cafe and the second is their restaurant/sit down area. If you’re looking for a cool, beautiful tea experience then this is the place for you!

Restaurant – Their sit down area is very modern. There is colorful, vibrant artwork displayed everywhere and a cool bar with a neon sign. The vibes were definitely not your typical high tea with vintage, floral, and lace everywhere – it was colorful, modern, and ARTSY. There were so many little details that stood out to me like their heart shaped straws, coasters for their teapots – even the color scheme of their place settings/mats. Everything just complemented each other and came together perfectly.

Afternoon Tea/Food – They offered a wide variety of tea options which I appreciated. For food, we chose from different towers made up of small bites (but still very filling). Their towers ranged from all sweets, savory, or a mixture of both. They also offered vegetarian options which was nice. l’d describe the food as more elevated – they had unique offerings and high quality ingredients; not your basic cucumber sandwiches that you’d find at tea time. Our reservation also included a cocktail or mocktail and their drinks were so beautiful! I loved how the majority of their cocktails could be turned into a mocktail (and their menu identified which ones). Their desserts were a standout; again, presentation was so cool and artsy.

Service – The service was outstanding! 10/10 on their attention to detail and level of care. They definitely made us feel like it was a high tea experience. The owner was so sweet and kind; she constantly checked in on us and took the time to walk us through our tower offerings and tea options.

Boba Shop – They have a few bubble teas on their menu along with some desserts. We ran into the owner here again haha which really showed how hardworking she is, floating back and forth between their restaurant side and cafe side! I ordered a strawberry matcha and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. I’m usually quite picky with strawberry matchas but it tasted so fresh and delicious! I also got to try my friend’s mango with cute star jellies and it was very flavorful and tasty too!

Overall, I was extremely happy with how my birthday tea party turned out! I was nervous going into it because the cost was pretty high ($90 per person plus tax and tip), but it was SO worth it! The experience was absolutely beautiful and photo-worthy. The perfect place to take your girlfriends!

Thank you ArTeA for such a lovely experience and making my birthday feel so special! I’ll be back!
