Updating after my second visit: Today’s visit was much less great. My food was made wrong and while it did taste good, it was extremely messy. To pay almost $13 for a sub that wasn’t right is ridiculous. The service was veeeery slow and I noticed how others were also getting their orders wrong.

10/1/25 went in at 8:40 and ordered a Chicken Philly. I was informed. That the grill had been cleaned and that they were not making any more hot subs tonight. I thought you could get anything on the menu until they closed at 9:00PM. I guess it is more important for them to go home at 9:00 PM. I didn’t order anything else to eat.

Went in this evening for the first time and probably last time. There was nobody sitting to eat; but, we were all sitting and waiting for our food. Four people other than us were waiting and it was about 25” from order to receiving. My daughter got a regular chicken bacon ranch it was so disgusting she threw it in the trash, I had a Philly that was more bread than anything I couldn’t tell where my bread was split for the lack of filling. It was supposed to have grilled onions it had maybe 3-4 small pcs and the sub had no taste completely bland. Reg sub averages right around $10 so not worth it. In one word it was horrible. Thank God for subway!

The subs at this Jersey Mike’s in Rocky Mount are quite good.. but I found a comment made by the employee preparing the subs to be rather rude. I was accompanied by two kiddos, aged 4 and 6, who were making some noise and being playful. While preparing the sub, the employee remarked “Do they know how to be quiet?” I replied that they have their moments of playfulness, that they are excited about their food, and asked if they have children. The employee disregarded my question and shifted the conversation to the ingredients. It is disappointing that they were rude like that, it kinda detracts from the overall atmosphere. This situation is frustrating for me because children are delightful, and that employee could benefit from exhibiting more understanding and patience. Children are naturally energetic and chatty/playful, it’s part of their charm.

This Rocky Mount, Va jersey Mike’s needs major improvements. They lost my order and then the employee looked at me and told me it’s not a big deal to just place it again. I shouldn’t have to place it again. They clearly care very little at this location. The higher ups need to get involved with this store because they are clearly untrained and could care less

Been going here since opening and was always satisfied but last couple visits not soo much today was tops.
Not busy at all ordered cold sub for wife and Philly for myself . Knocked out cold sub fast and that was it girl on grill never started the Philly too busy talking. They did offer to start it but in a bit of rush so I’m done with them for awhile if the workers just seem like they don’t want to be there

Philly steak nothing special, did not have the best of flavors. Staff very nice and professional, atmosphere, the floor was extremely messy, but they were extremely busy. Thanks JMs but I dont think I will try you again.

I find that the subs from Jersy Mikes fresher and more flavorfull. I also find them to be a bit more costly. The store here is clean and well kept. The employees that I encountered were professional.

I spend a lot of money at jersey mikes each month. The past 3 times I have ordered subs online, they are messed up. I understand they get busy so today I decided to order in person so that I can make sure they are right. After waiting 35 minutes for my 3 hot subs to come out- one was made incorrectly. They offered to remake it, but after 30 minutes of waiting- who has time to wait even more?
