Salam al-howdy Dudes! We are The Urban Turban – Here to bring something very special! We’re coming to you with a healthy fusion of East and West – flavors from the deep valleys of Balochistan, the buzzing street foods of Sindh and Lahore, and fusing it with North American bangers!

Decided to try this place on a whim while looking for something tasty for dinner. I got the combo burrito which came with both red and green sauce, the green was my favorite! The price was reasonable and the location was in a small food truck court in Hutto. It was nice to find that they were open late and I was able to call in and quickly pick up my order. It was flavor filled and a bit spicy which I like. Looking forward to trying the cheesesteak next time.

I ordered a beef burrito and it only had ground beef, wilted lettuce and so much oil. Unfortunately I took two bites before I realized that it was all mainly ground beef, I threw up shortly after I took those bites. Not worth the money at all. Will not be ordering from here again.

Urban Turban in Round Rock was fantastic! The Turban cheesesteak was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly—definitely worth the stop.
I enjoyed eating outside at the shaded picnic tables, which made for a nice, casual setup.
Parking was super easy with plenty of space, so no hassle getting in or out. A great spot for a quick, delicious meal with convenient outdoor seating!

Best birria I’ve ever had—hands down! Went for the Birria’s Cousin tacos (their halal twist on the classic) and they were insanely tender, flavorful, and perfectly dipped in consommé. Also tried the birria ramen (spicy and spot-on) and beef & rice plate—everything was fresh and packed with taste. It’s wild how a halal Pakistani spot nails Mexican fusion this well. These guys know how to cook! Worth the wait after the ice storm closure. Highly recommend!

Excellent take out and even better catering! Their team arrived on time and very well prepared, and even put a very nice message decoration that accompanied the food. Our guests all asked where the tacos, quesadillas and chicken / rice came from. Can’t recommend more.

Like many, social media brought us here. If you love desi food and Mexican food, you’ll certainly love this. They blend the flavors so well, and at the same time, keep the flavors authentic. We tried the tandoori tacos and chicken tikka quesadillas. Both were awesome. You can both taste the distinct flavors and feel the foods as a perfect blend at the same time. Definitely recommend.

This place was oh my god mind blowing. I came into town with low expectations on good halal food, but I was proven wrong. This place has the best birria tacos I’ve ever indulged in. I would highly recommend the tandoori tacos, the birria tacos, and the birria cousin tacos. The people were so nice and lively, and I got blown away by this literally and figuratively (it was super windy). Highly highly recommend!!!!!

Went here with my wife and got the birria quesadillas, chicken tikka quesadillas, a mango lassi, and an iced chai frappe. It was all good, but the birria quesadillas were phenomenal. Just wow! The meat and soup have a delicious blend of south Asian spices that just works with tender beef and the rest of the quesadilla. Additionally, This food truck has great service and covered all outdoor seating. It also seems like they are about to open an area for kids to play at next to this food truck called “Flamingo Kids”, so we will be excited to try that out next time!

Absolutely amazing food – a new go to spot for my husband and I! I got the tandoori chicken quesadillas and LOVED it. My husband got the chicken over rice and loved his meal too. Great vibe and the owner was kind and obviously great at what he does. The food is delicious, the Thirsty Turban is like a slightly less sweet Pakola and the Mango Lassi was good. I can’t wait to go back! Next time I might try the tacos and my husband is thinking of trying their cheesesteak!
