The food was delicious as usual (except the amount of chocolate chips in the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough was a little excessive because of the fact of how hard they are which can really be difficult to chew). The staff was nice but the only one who actually took the time out to engage in any conversation with us was a younger girl at the front counter. The store was very spacious with seating and extremely well kept but depending on where you choose to dine, there is an area in particular that smells like an underwater aquarium which was very strong and kind of unpleasant. The service though was extremely fast though by the way.

How many years ago was dairy Queen was very nice it was owned by a local family who sponsored baseball teams and so forth the pictures were all over. That is how I always have remembered small businesses like this specially dairy Queens. Someone else is taking it over and I do believe it’s foreigners. They can’t get your order right no matter how you order it. You can’t get anything done through them. When I place my order they shorted me a cheeseburger which I had ordered two. When I went up to try to get my other cheeseburger which I had ordered I was told that they messed up the order and then ring up the second cheeseburger. Instead of just getting me a cheeseburger and fixing the situation the lady offered to sell me another cheeseburger she said sorry handed me the receipt and walked off. I don’t think they understand how business works over here and I don’t think they’re going to do too well considering they got Culver’s right next door. They’ve also changed over the entire story it’s got a very at best disinfectant look to itdoesn’t have the quaint look that it once had and all the sponsorships all that is gone it’s very generic and very plain and certainly they put more money into the building and it looks then they did into the people they hire. They also have way too many people I’ve seen tons of people playing around not doing anything not sweeping up not cleaning there was at least eight people behind the counter and none of them really were doing much other than just talking and cutting up. Have they made better train my order have been right the first time had they had a good manager or even owner I don’t know who it was but I’m assuming she was just the manager they would have fixed the situation and it wouldn’t have been a problem. Truthfully I look for this business to lose a lot of business and eventually close down it’s sad

The service I received was ho-hum and pretty abrupt. The food was decent and got to me quickly for their small staff size. The onion rings were great.

There was a ~10 year old kid (whom I am assuming was one of the team member’s children) walking around behind the counter and talking with the employees which I felt was a bit odd. He wasn’t working, thank goodness, but it was weird nonetheless ‍♂️.

This DQ location is wild to me. I’ve gone a handful of times since relocating to the Southside. I know that each time there’s going to be something strange. Want a banana split without strawberries due to an allergy – not possible. Ordered ice water with a Blizzard expecting it will be free – charged for a full price drink. Last I checked, Greenwood wasn’t Europe. Ordered a Cookie Jar Blizzard last night – “we don’t necessarily do that but can upcharge you.” What does that even mean? It’s just oreo and cookie dough. It’s a Blizzard that’s featured regularly and you have the ingredients year-round.

Am I shocked that service is a struggle given the fact that about 10 people were working behind the counter? Yes.

Will I still go? Probably.

As frequently as I would had the service not been consistently trash? No.

Ultimately, there are other sweet treat options all over nearby so might as well get what you want somewhere else without pushback and ownership sneaking in extra charges.

Deborah did my cake for my daughter’s 6th birthday and she absolutely blew it out of the park. I was absolutely shocked with how well she did. I think we might make this a yearly tradition. Less than $40 and it was absolutely amazing. I cant wait to dig in today at the party!

We ordered two blizzards containing bananas. The bananas never got blended into the blizzards. I requested that a scoop of hot fudge be added to the blizzard but it wasn’t there. The employees were all joking around with each other but were very cold and abrupt in talking to us. Since our wants/need/desires obviously don’t matter to that store, I think next time we want an ice cream we’ll look elsewhere.

Never had an issue here. Staff is always nice and friendly. Very impressed to see them actually cleaning behind tables and benches.

Ordered 2 meals. Chicken tender basket came with the bare minimum fries, more than likely from the last of a batch when I asked for fresh food. Tenders are also old. Can’t get through the phone line to let them know. Won’t be eating here again.

this Dairy Queen has been going downhill for awhile now…. I’ve seen/heard multiple cat fights in the store between employees and have just been strictly drive through for a few months and even they can’t seem to make a decent chocolate extreme blizzard… why would you use vanilla ice cream as the base of a CHOCOLATE EXTREME blizzard? And if you have to, put enough chocolate sauce in it so it’s chocolatey….my blizzard is a dark as my mother chocolate chip cookie dough blizzard. I’m getting a chocolate blizzard expecting it to taste chocolatey… yikes. I would suggest going to the Main Street one, they always get my order right. I shouldn’t have to add chocolate syrup at home to make it look like I order chocolate ice cream….

I have been on a diet I am one of the things I’m allowed to have is the Dairy Queen dilly bar sugar-free and when I buy it it normally comes without broken or mash dilly bars. The last four boxes my husband has bought me has broken or fractured dilly bars and I am very tired of paying $11 a box when they won’t answer the phone so you can tell them about the problem please get this fixed because people are getting tired of paying good money for products that aren’t properly given to you at the window we shouldn’t have to find this in a box that are damaged goods, three are good the others are damaged. This has never happened to me before guess I’m gonna have to have them open up the box and check it before they bring it home, if it doesn’t change.
