Came here for dinner recently Sunday night—had reservations and we were seated right away in a nice big comfy booth for just two. Our server Earl was great—super friendly, attentive and had such positive, happy vibes. All the staff were pretty nice.

Overall, food was just okay. For starters, the Caesar Salad was fine. For steaks, we got the 16 oz. Ribeye ($82) and 24 oz. Bone-In Strip ($110)—both steaks were not flavored enough, very bland. We were given three different sauces for the steak, but the reality is, if the steak is perfectly cooked and marinated right, you shouldn’t need any steak sauce. For the steak pricing too, we were disappointed with the experience. For sides, we got Three for $35–Spinach and Artichoke Gratin, Yukon Gold Potatoes, and Shells & Cheese—all relatively good but nothing exceptional.

For dessert, the Banana Foster was my favorite dish of night! They flambéed the banana on a portable stove right at your table, super neat. Also got The Macallan Flight ($80) which was amazing, especially the 18yr pour!

**Highly recommend a reservation ***
Absolutely delicious and will definitely be back. Note, this location is in a casino. The service was fantastic and the food was well worth it. Everything tasted soooo fresh, my favorite was their steak and the steak fries. I’ve been to a handful of ‘fancy’ restaurants in DC, VA and MD this one is by far my favorite as the food is actually fresh and well prepared. They did make a slight mistake on our order, the staff was SO kind and served us quickly, and efficiently. They resolved the issue and corrected it kindly. As far as esthetic they have different seating areas, beautiful plates, gorgeous bookshelves and a beautiful lighting. The parking for the casino was free at the time of this review.

It has been on my radar to dine at Voltaggio Steak House for quite some time. Always at MGM, but never had a chance to eat there until recently. Reservation was on Sunday, 2/1 @ 8p and we were immediately seated at our table. However, while walking through the vast dining room, there were numerous tables that hadn’t been cleared / bussed. I asked my wife, “Did the bussers all decide to quit?”

Needless to say it didn’t instill a good first impression of the place’s ambiance. It got better thought. We were greeted by staff and ultimately Earl, our server for evening. He was amazing. From the beginning to the end, his positive attitude and energetic vibes were much appreciated.

We had a bottle of wine, Caesar salad to start, bone-in NY strip for me, ribeye for the wife, mac & cheese, spinach au gratin, mashed potatoes, bananas foster for dessert, and the Macallan flight as a night cap.

Overall, the food was okay. To call yourself a steakhouse, I will have high expectations on your steak. When my NY strip came out, it was sliced off the bone, but on first bite, there was no crust. Even worse, the steak lacked the accompanying flavor bomb that comes with a good crust. NY strip is my favorite cut because of the flavor in compromise for tenderness. At Voltaggio, it was if the steak was poached and served to me. It did not meet my personal preference of enjoyment.

The other accompaniments to the dinner were lackluster when the main event, the steak, didn’t astound me. Well I take that back, the highlight did come from the bananas foster. The tableside presentation was delightful and the taste helped “sweeten” the overall experience.

Since this is a review, I would not recommend this steakhouse to anyone that seeks out steakhouses. I would prefer it if they called themselves Voltaggio Brother Restaurant as to not give diners a false impression. But I will gladly come back to hangout with Earl for dessert.

My husband and I have been watching Bryan and Michael compete on Food Network for a while, and we were dying to try their restaurant. All of our high expectations were met! It has a Michelin-star vibe, an incredible atmosphere, and exquisite food.
We had a reservation, and they were able to seat us even though we arrived 20 minutes early. The staff were very polite, warm, and welcoming.

We ordered the oysters—they were super fresh. The 34-oz porterhouse was perfectly cooked and seasoned, definitely the best I’ve ever had. My husband absolutely loved his 20-oz bone-in ribeye. The beer-naise sauce added a very special touch.

We got three side dishes—broccolini, shells and cheese, and steak fries—all amazingly well made. We shared a very rich chocolate cake for dessert and received a refreshing lime sorbet for my birthday.

Hubby and I had a dinner date before a comedy show we were going to see at the MGM. This place was amazing from the ambiance to the service. We started with a Ceasars salad that was served wedge style and a grilled blackened catfish in brown butter. Both were great starters. For our entree we had the Salmon and Waygu flank steak and mashed potatoes. They were so delicious we forgot to take a picture. The drinks were good also. Our server Earl was great, very attentive and friendly.

What an amazing experience. The drinks, the staff & the menu were all absolutely on point. Those were the best clams I’ve ever had, the oysters were sweet & briny, and the steaks were chefs delicious. I’m definitely going back.

Booked a reservation for two for dinner before the show that we were scheduled to see in the theater. I was concerned after reading the email sent earlier that day that their may be delays in being seated due to high volume. Upon check-in we were asked to sit and wait however it wasn’t more than five minutes. We actually arrived three minutes before our scheduled reservation slot, thankfully.
From the moment that we were seated, service was phenomenal and attentive. I had already looked up the menu prior to booking so I had an idea of what to order and be shared between my mom and me. They shared specials. Every dish was absolutely delicious. We shared a 16 oz ribeye (medium rare) that was conveniently sliced for easy sharing. It came with three sauces as listed. We chose the three sides for $35 deal: asparagus, spinach artichoke, and russet potato. We went back and forth about getting our own potato but in hindsight we are so glad we did not. The potato was more than enough for both of us. I’ve never seen a potato so large. The ambiance was upscale and dim lit. Everyone was well mannered. While we did not have room for dessert they brought out a complimentary birthday dish for my mother. I will definitely return but for a special occasions only since it is on the pricier side.

So it started with a notification that there was a 2hr table limit. That was acceptable because we don’t spend more then that anyway. Waiter was nice but forgot a couple minor items not. Bib wedge salad was mediocre with some gimmicky frozen powdered blue cheese. It tasted pretty good but not very big for 2 people at $18 but ok. Then we had a TBone for 2 med rare. It came out no sear or char of any kind looked like it was baked, not a great presentation with the bone laying on top of the meat $154. Served with a strange undercooked Asian-fusion friend onion. The sides were OK, mashed potatoes very good, glazed carrots disappointing swimming in some sesame sauce. Steakhouses are my thing and have literally tried hundreds worldwide the non steak dishes around my table looked good but I was there for the steak. Priced in line with most steakhouses and not the worst I’ve had, but a bit disappointing.

First time visiting with family. The staff was very friendly and professional. David and Roberto waited on my party of 6. David did a good job of explaining the menu and special items. The food and drinks were amazing and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend and will be back.

Our dinner was amazing. By husband is a big Brian Voltaggio fan, so I brought him during our weekend getaway. The food was amazing, but even more, Earl, our waiter, is what made the whole evening. His personality, kindness, and joy he showed for his job was the best service I’ve experienced in years.
