Welcome to Chris’ Ice Cream! If you’re looking for delicious Mexican food around Indianapolis far north side, you’ve come to the right place. We serve traditional Mexican food as well as delicious Mexican ice cream. We are located on 86th Street and The Monon Trail, right across Aldi’s. We are open Monday through Saturday from 10 m to 9 pm.

Been wanting to try their ice-cream for awhile. I ordered a small with White Russian, chocolate flavours, tasted subtle. The portions are generous.

We decided to try the homemade ice cream and honestly…it was delicious. The staff were super friendly and happily handed out free samples, which was a fun bonus. The ice cream itself definitely lived up to the hype! The only downside was the price: $18 for one large and one small cup felt a little steep, even by 2026 standards (and no cones!). Still, a tasty stop and worth checking out.

I absolutely love, love, love this taco place! Hands down the best I’ve ever been to. The food is incredible, but what truly sets them apart is the amazing customer service. You can genuinely feel how much they care about their customers, and that means so much.

Chris’ Ice Cream is a staple! Being less than 10 minute away is the most perfect thing! I’ve always gotten their grilled chicken tacos with their red and green sauce! Very delicious!
Their ice cream is soooooo good! Very smooth and the flavors are strong in a good way! My favorite is the Oreo!

Fantastic burrito, great service, and a super friendly staff. The place feels authentic, the prices are fair, and it made for an excellent lunch. I skipped the smoothies because it was cold today, but they’re definitely on my list for next time! Love anywhere you can get a fresh smoothie

Been going to Chris’ for some time now and not once is it less than delicious. Tacos, tortas, it doesn’t matter what you get, you will be pleased. Oh and the ice cream. Oreo, coffee, guava, rum raisin and even the shakes which are to die for but again, it doesn’t matter what you get, you will be more than pleased.

I happened upon this place pretty randomly, just being in the area and wanting something to eat. The service was so pleasant and warm! Everyone there checked in on me multiple times to make sure I had what I needed/wanted. Lots of couple and families in here enjoying food.
I ordered the steak Sopes and they were phenomenal. I got the red sauce and the green sauce and I enjoyed them both on the sopes. I also got a cup of their Oreo ice cream, which was blended together cookies, that was great too! I definitely will be back and will bring back my friends.
