Food came fast and was very hot. Employees are friendly. Lamb samosas were good, a little salty. Cashew chicken curry didnt taste very much like cashews but was still good, a little salty.

Everything we ordered was super yummy! The Chicken Curry was flavorful and hearty, and the Salmon Curry was a unique and tasty surprise. But the star for me was the Palak Paneer, it was so creamy and full of flavor, probably the best I’ve ever had!!

The best part of the night was when Chef Prem came out to the dining room. He was so nice and took a few minutes to talk with our table about the food. You can really tell he cares about what he’s serving and that people are enjoying it. It made a great meal feel really special.

We’ll definitely be back!

Fantastic experience on all levels – this was my best dining experience in several years. The food was ultra flavorful and the meat (lamb, chicken, and salmon) were all perfectly tender. The staff was courteous and generous. As far as pricing goes, we felt like we time-warped back 5 years. $15 bottle of wine at a restaurant seems unheard of, and food prices were also reasonable. We got a plate of momo and 3 main dishes for 4 people and this was a perfect amount of food. We will most certainly be coming back and we hope to see you there!

Overall: It’s a good choice if you want something different for take out.

The extended review…

Food:

Basil Lamb Combo – 4/5 – The good thing about this is you get a complete meal and tasty things to try. There were lentils and veggies that came with the dish that were very flavorful. Add some rice and naan and you are good to go. The basil lamb itself was very fragrant and I enjoyed it very much.

Service: N/A – I did take out!

Having eaten at most restaurants in this area, Cuisine of Nepal is one of, if not the best. Every dish is excellent, they accommodate to allergies, and are very friendly. You will surely be going home with leftovers. Please eat here.

There is a reason why this place has great rating and I would vouch for it to say it’s totally totally so so so worth it. The wait time is long to get a table at peak hours but it really doesn’t matter at the end of the day. The way time is enough to give on the hunger pangs right to relish the yumilicious food.
Their momos were exquisite and soft, filled with flavors and spices. The chef and owner came to make their rounds to ensure everyone was happy with their food. They communicated with all their customers with a smile and asked if anyone wanted something else or needed suggestions.
My husband asked if they made some Special nepali dish and he said they don’t but he would be able to help with that someday maybe. He was so nice to us,giving us his business card.
We are definitely going back there soon to relish on the food further!

Solid spot way up in Bernal Heights with staple Nepalese dishes. The momos are good, and the combo plate with tadka and veg is super nice (love the metal plate). I only wish it included achaar and raita! Lacks a bit of what I loved about the food in Nepal, but pretty good for America. Overall a nice experience.
