I placed a (pick up) order on (uber eats) I sent my son in to grab it they had it tapped so I didn’t think to check it we finally got home I look at it and it’s THIS (picture attached) like what in the hell is this I’ve been getting hungry howies from this location for over 4 years now and never had a issue with them I paid for (EXTRA) : mushrooms, black olives, extra mayonnaise, two sub sets, and paid for 3x the cheese ! Mind you on uber eats it is $1.50 to add extra so I paid almost $20 for a $9.00 dollar sub… which was made horribly I called the store the man that answered said there is nothing he can do about it (they made it) and his manager said there is nothing they could do about it and I needed to take it up with uber eats…. Which I placed a review because this is not what I paid for but uber eats don’t like to pay people back for little things like EXTRA i don’t really care at this point because there is nothing I can do about it now I guess but the FACT that they made it this way shows they don’t care about their business or customers!!! What kind of sub is this where is my extra cheese ? My extra black olives? My extra mushrooms? This is the most PLAIN sub I’ve ever gotten and I’ve been ordering these half my life I prefer them over pizza anywho… if you want a good sub this location is NOT IT!!!!! This is hands down the laziest place I’ve ever been to and the careless response I got when I called told me everything i needed to know about how they treat their customers!!! Horrible customer service horrible customer care and such a huge waste of money.

What I ordered vs what I got. Undercooked and inedible. Shredded cheese wasn’t even melted and dowsed in sauce. They would not refund had to wait additional time to receive a new pizza. Very disappointed

I have ordered from this location multiple times to have food delivered to my elderly parents who live just around the corner, and until now I’ve never had an issue. This time, however, the delivery failed despite me entering the address exactly as it appears for my parents. When I called to address the issue, I spoke with someone who claimed to be the owner, and the experience was extremely disappointing. The lack of professionalism, poor attitude, argumentative, and complete absence of customer service were unacceptable. ESPECIALLY from someone representing themselves as the store owner. Because of this experience, I would strongly recommend avoiding this Hungry Howie’s location. There are plenty of better pizza options available. I will not be ordering from here again. 0/10.

Ordered pizza with anchovies on the side to be delivered from the website for HH at 5570 4th St. They don’t deliver so they make you choose a delivery source and HH is not an option, so gotta pay extra for Uber to deliver. Uber shows up with a nasty looking $17 small pizza and no anchovies, so I cancel the order and send it back with the driver, then call HH store and manager said they’re out of anchovies and that’s Uber’s fault for taking the order. I told him I placed the order on HH’s website so how is it Uber Eats fault? and THE MANAGER REFUSED TO REFUND THE MONEY FOR MY ORDER BLAMING IT ON UBER. DO NOT GIVE THESE THIEVES A PENNY OF YOUR MONEY! There are a lot of other good choices for pizza in St Pete that don’t steal.

Sad pizza. One would hope the toppings would be somewhat evenly distributed. A 10″ pizza has an area of about 78.5″. When the toppings only comprise 2.5-3″ of the center and no where else, they cover less than a third of the pizza (about 24″ area). Pizza math! Anyway, I ordered a pizza with extra mushrooms, and instead I received a plain cheese pizza with a small center of mushrooms. This was not ideal, and it made me sad. Boooooo.
Update, 2 months later: continue to order HH pizza because kids love it. Ordered another 2x mushroom pizza, only to receive a pizza with fewer mushrooms than the last one. I guess it’s a punishment for the last review. THIS time there were mushrooms on only 4/8 slices, and definitely not double mushroom. I really didn’t think mushrooms were so expensive that they would skimp to such an extent. I have learned my lesson, so thanks, I guess.

It’s been quite some time since I’ve ordered from HH, and I was definitely pleased by my experience this time around!! Unbeknownst to me, HH started doing stuffed crust which is a no brainer imo. Both the stuffed crust and thin crust were baked to perfection. Highly recommend if you want super fast, quality pizza for a decent price! And delivery was almost too fast
