Great food and service. One of my grandpa favorite places. Best place to eat in the nearby area for sure! The garlic mashed potatoes and ribeye are always on point.

I love this place. I did not get my usual this last time and I did regret it. I get the filet usually, but I opted for stir fry. It wasn’t bad but wasn’t great either. But the filet is always perfect. I can’t wait to go have a filet again. Service is great also.

Abe’s use to be great but the last few times it’s gone down hill. This last time we went my wife and I ordered medium rare filets, both were cooked to the point they were gray, not a hint of pink, certainly not red and 125-135 as a medium rare should be. At $30 plus per, this should not be cooked incorrectly. My wife sent hers back. When they brought the new one out the waitress said “hope this is better” then walked away. It was not. Still as gray as the first one. Then she avoided our table until I waved her back for the check. She spent the majority of the time avoiding eye contact and staying on the other side of the room. Abe’s was a twice monthly eatery for us, but we won’t be returning.

Great place! Got some of the best fried pickles as an appetizers and it was on our table so fast, so flavorful, seasoned to perfection. I also tried the Philly cheese steak and fries, it too was cooked and seasoned very well. I will be going back soon to try more, if you haven’t been go now.

Met with a group Tuesday night and we were in the private room. Food was good, service was very kind and considerate and we appreciated being able to hear one another. Worth the trip from Decatur.

Heard about the place on a Tenderloin Page on FB, decided to give it a try. About an hour and 15min ride for us taking the scenic route. When we got there was was pleased with the place, very nice inside, an older historical commercial building nicely remodeled still has the high ceilings with tin. Love old buildings! We were greeted promptly by a friendly waitress and ordered our tenderloins. I would also like to say that they have a good looking menu, if I went for something other than a tenderloin it would have been a tough decision. The tenderloins where very good, wonderfully tender, perfectly seasoned and cooked perfect as well. It was a nice surprise and worth the drive. The waitress informed us that Saturday evenings they have smoked prime rib, but try to get there early, as it goes quick. We will definitely be going back!

Ot’s been a while since I’ve been here amd was close so decision made to stop in for a Tenderlion. Wrong decision today. It came out a bit overcooked very thin and lacking flavor. Priced at $12 ot was a waste of money. Wpuld Ingo.back, maybe for something else, definitely not a BPT. Anyway on to the next adventure.

Food was good, but 2 thin slices of ham on a pony shoe is pretty skimpy… and 4 thin slices of ham on the horse shoe is even skimpier…not good
Will not order it again…. This is the 2nd time of a pony shoe and a horseshoe which was all cheese sauce, fries, under toasted bread and next to no meat to the point you could not taste the ham once you found it.
Abe’s needs to do better than this and should.
