Went on Friday morning and was pleasantly surprised by how calm and relaxed the atmosphere was. The service was quick; bagels came out in no time, and the whipped cream cheese was a nice touch. They had a solid variety of cream cheese flavors, which made it easy to mix things up. As for the bagels themselves, they were fine—nothing mind-blowing, but decent enough. Overall, a good spot for a quick, low-key breakfast, especially if you’re big on cream cheese.

The owner/manager stormed into a neighboring business we attend for children’s classes and, in front of clients and children, berated the teenage front desk employee over accusations about parking. Instead of addressing the situation professionally, he chose to publicly confront and intimidate a young staff member who had nothing to do with the issue.
The people parked in the lot were paying customers who went into the bagel store while their child was attending classes. To aggressively target a young woman rather than have a respectful conversation between business owners is completely unacceptable and deeply unprofessional.
The behavior displayed was shocking and appalling. Families witnessed a grown man yelling at a young employee in the workplace, something no child or parent should have to see. As a customer from a neighboring business, we parents bring dozens of customers to the bagel cafe each weekend.
After this disturbing display, many of those families have made it clear they will not be supporting bagel cafe moving forward. Businesses should uplift their communities and support one another.

The bagels are consistently bad. Once I got a bagel that must’ve been a week old. It was extremely hard. They told me because it was toasted, but that makes no sense unless the bagel was already very hard. It was completely inedible. The side salads are pretty good and pickle. But the bagel sandwiches are consistently pretty bad. I’ve ordered from this place over a dozen times, hoping it will get better, but they continue to disappoint. The prices are also absolutely outrageous. Way WAY TOO HIGH. A lunch sandwich CANNOT be almost $20. I was so excited that this place opened near my home, as i frequented the Long Beach location for over 10 years, which waa ALWAYS great. I’m really not sure why this location is so horrible. I’m not sure if it’s the baker or employees making the sandwiches. Most likely a combination of both. Sad I had high hopes.

Today I had a very disappointing experience at Long Island Bagel.
My order was supposed to be ready when I arrived, yet they made me wait over 40 minutes. The store wasn’t even busy, and there was no reason for such a delay.
As delivery drivers, our time matters — we’re people too, and late orders affect our earnings and our ratings. If the staff can’t prepare orders on time, they really shouldn’t accept them through the app.
I hope they improve their timing and start treating drivers with more respect. Very unprofessional experience.

Every morning the same happy gonl lucky crew, happy to serve with a smile , they are very good listeners and have great order accuracy, I try to tip every time I go eat there . Today makes 12 trips in 3 weeks … I’d recommend this place to all friends and family….
Stopped in to get a ice tea, spend close to 5 dollars , took a nice big swig of what I can only call horrible cross contamination…. my tea is not supposed to taste like coffee woluth a hint of tea… just disgusting

I’ve always ordered bagels from here with my colleagues and is the only place we get them. This time around I had an unfortunate experience, I got a bagel with cream cheese and noticed there were multiple little bugs that’s must’ve been in the flour.

Reminded me of that old Wendy’s commercial, WHERE’S THE BEEF?!? Waaaaaay to pricey. I ordered the “Big Bird” and my expectations vs. what I got were way off. Sandwich is tasty but for $13 it was severely lacking substance. It was basically Russian dressing with lettuce on a roll. I grabbed a 20oz soda and it also rang up at $3.40!!!! Not a 2 liter but a 20oz. Service was good but I don’t think I’ll be going back there again. There are better deals for similar quality available elsewhere. On the plus side, the girl behind the counter was very nice.

Found this place by accident as we were driving by and my kid said she wanted a bagel so we pulled into the lot and I am so glad we did. The bagels are super fresh with the right amount of soft and chewy you expect from a good bagel. I recommend you don’t leave without trying the French toast bagel. My kids have already put in a request that we are going back for breakfast this weekend!

This place smells so good and is so clean I had a hard time picking something to eat. Went with a recent favorite I tried in the Baldwin location but with an egg everything bagel. Staff was super nice but I asked for black pepper and I think I got bell peppers instead. Didn’t enjoy biting into bell peppers every bite but the sandwich itself was very tasty. The macaroni was sweeter than expected but I’ll definitely be going back to try something else
