Experience was awesome, we came in on a busy night, lucky for us most people wanted hibachi. They sat the four of us right away on Valentine’s Day. Waitress was friendly and her service was fast. Our appetizers came out quick and all of them were delicious, she was very knowledgeable of the dishes since we wanted to order the pork ramen, barely any description on the menu, broth was flavorful and so was the rest of the bowl. Would definitely come back in the summer when they have an open concept dining. Loved this place.

This was my first time there. Was looking for a good Chinese restaurant near Ridgefield. Everything we ordered (I was with a party of 3) came out in a timely manner & piping hot. The waitress always had a smile & was very good at her job. The only deterrent was that if you’re with someone who’s physically disabled with difficulties walking or stepping on & off a curb, you need to go a bit far to find a handicapped parking spot & a flatter surface to get on/off the sidewalk. But I don’t think that issue is directly related to the restaurant. Their menu had Chinese, sushi & Japanese dishes, as well. If you like duck, I recommend the duck egg roll. I look forward to going back to try other dishes.

Zen has been one of my favorite Sushi place in Danbury for quite sometime. However my recent visit was such a disappointment. If you are trying to rob people in day light, then just put at the entrance so people know. I ordered a lunch special sashimi. I have been coming here for years now and this is most minuscule salmon I have seen on the plate. With rising cost of everything, I can understand the size difference. So I ordered a salmon sashimi separately. I had to take a picture of the salmon to show how thin it was and how ridiculous it is to charge people for sashimi but try to cut cost by giving them half of what they paid for. This is the last time I came to your place because now you have completely lost my trust. Shame on you and your business practices for ripping people off like that. No matter how good your service and other food is, once you lose a customers trust, there is no going back. Saving a $1 or $2 on per salmon sashimi by serving the most ridiculous size may be helping you with profit overall but that also means you are losing several $$ from future customer visit. Good luck serving your tiny cheap and ridiculous salmon sashimi Zen.

Stopped here to meet a friend, the service was terrific, the establishment was clean & the acoustics were perfect for chatting. The beef on a stick was wonderful, tender & cooked perfectly. The General Tso’s chicken was crisp & tasty. The rice & broccoli were perfect also. The prices here are good maybe even better than local take out!! You won’t be sorry if you make a stop here.

Zen is a perfect spot when you are looking for options when you are craving Asian cuisine. The menu has many options. I’m a sushi lover and love their sushi menu. Great place for groups and also great for a date night. The restaurant is very accommodating to food allergies and the customer experience is always positively memorable.

TLDR: You must try beef curry here!
The best curry I’ve ever had around the community (Danbury & Ridgefield) . So much flavor! The vegetables are fresh and the beef is properly cooked.
The fried rice with wok hay can satisfy Uncle Roger (There are beans in it, though), I believe.
Got two sushi rolls, too. Didn’t surprise me.
My conclusion is that sushi is not the best here. But they definitely got very good Thai and Chinese chef. Would like to try more Chinese cuisines here.

My food was good, unfortunately the spicy salmon roll my wife had was bad and now my wife has food poisoning. Left this restaurant around 6:45pm and my wife is puking at 11:30pm. Not good. Do better with your food safety.
