Everything about this experience was wonderful! We ordered the enchiladas verdes and some street tacos, and everything was absolutely delicious. They were even able to accommodate my request to switch out the corn tortillas for flour. The food came out really quick, and the service was really wonderful. They even gave us three sauces to try with our chips! We will be back for sure.

Nice, CLEAN little place. You order & pay at the counter, then claim a table. Food was ready quick, and was a good value for the money. I had the super burrito; it was big and I couldn’t eat it all! Love this place, went there for the first time, and the food was so good I went back the next day for lunch, I had the Carne asada plate, the Birria tacos, and the Chile verde pork. Overall the food is amazing, great portion sizes, and tons of flavor! Some specific items worth noting are the Consommé that comes with the Birria tacos, it is beyond flavorful and I have never had a consommé like that before. The Carne asada meat is beyond tender, The plate is large, and has plenty of food. The rice and beans provided with every meal are also very good. The Chile Verde was solid, but there was nothing overtly special about it. Overall I would recommend you go give El Gallo a try, They have great food, and their service is fantastic. (They give 3 salsas with the chips that land on your table before the food! The food always comes fast too)

This place is possibly the best Mexican place around. Every single thing I’ve had here is delicious. The chips are delicious. The burritos are delicious. The tacos are delicious. The Pollo à la Crema is delicious. The salsa is delicious even if you’re just driving through Junction city just stop here. It doesn’t matter if you’re hungry it doesn’t matter if you like Mexican food, if you come here, you will like what they give you and you will eat it and you will love it. It sounds like I’m overhyping this, but I’m not come here and eat the food unless you hate things that are good.
