On a trip from LA to Seattle and decided to stop by. The food is great and lots of food, I had leftovers for the road trip.

Stopped in for a couple of cocktails. Our bartender seemed annoyed that he had to break away from his conversation this friends. Asked for an Alabama slammer, he couldn’t make one even after looking it up online… Which I was pretty surprised as it’s a famous drink and he looked up how to make it. We did get some free chips and salsa tho. Music was kinda depressing and slow. Pool tables were $1.50 a game! Never paid so much anywhere. Next morning was shut down for construction. Didn’t try the food; don’t feel like I missed out on anything.

The bowl of soup was enormous! And delicious! My wife enjoyed her tacos. The local (Humboldt) Blurberry Ale was awesome. Great service. We’ll be back. Great house salsa and chips too

Nice cozy Mexican place in Cresent city. I’m super happy with food and service. The price is reasonable good atmosphere inside plenty of room for big group party and they also have private section for special reservation. Refillable tortillas chips. My soup was a bomb. Would love to come back here again if we’re in town.

Casual Mexican dining.
Hours are 3pm to 8pm.

We were seated right away. Staff was friendly and great service. One of the house specialties is the chili Verde. So husband choose that I had a shrimp and vegetable dish. Husband says best Verde he has had in years. The shrimp dish was wonderful!

Would definitely go back!! Gem!

Service 12/10. Owners were extremely kind to us while we were traveling. They made us burritos that we could eat in the car instead of covering them with salsa. They even gave us 2 extra burritos for our travels. Thank you so much for your kindness. We will pass it along.

We were craving Mexican while we were visiting Crescent City and Toreros really satisfied us. We got the Lime Margarita, Taco Salad, and a pork dish. All were very yummy!

Great food! The staff is extremely friendly. We showed up 30 minutes before close and was sat immediately with great service! Check this place out! Prices are around $16.
They have a lounge in the back of the restaurant. When you’re done eating, you can finish up date night with a few drinks. They also have drinks to go

Looks like about to shut down, believe the female owner was there and very short with us, seemed friendlier with people of her culture. We had a server ask us if need any more drinks or even come by one other time than when got our food which the meats, shredded chicken and ground beef, tasted freezer burned. It looks like it was in process of remodel then stopped. Some has carpet, appears to be split into thirds like 3 different places. Bathroom door locks broken and bathrooms need updating. No one greeted us nor said good bye nor asked us for boxes. We barely existed. A place Chef Ramsey should go for Kitchen Nightmares, as they need help if going to stay open.

So far, the most authentic Mexican place I’ve been to in Crescent City. The meat had flavor, the menu had choices that remind me of La Pinata in the Bay Area, the portions were good. Prices I think were higher than the other Mexican restaurants in Crescent but to me well worth it. Our server was a sweet kid. Needs a little training on bringing plates with appetizers though. I think this is my new go to place for Mexican food. Very happy to have found it ☺️
